Quality Short But Odd Fit

I bought these online and happy upon receipt. Quality fit and finish...these are 8" inseam shorts, however the front rise on seem a little higher than you'd expect to see on a pair of shorts. Meaning...their like dress slacks that are to ride a little higher on your hips vs. shorts jthat sit kinda right at your hip. Otherwise, if you try to wear these that way, the appear saggy and not fit very well.
