Plush Ride

I have done a couple long runs in then. 6 mile and 7 mile run. These are cushioned enough to not bottom out. The plush foam comes at a cost, usually not as responsive. The ZoomX foam has just enough bounce back that it makes running long distances easier. Size is what I normally wear for Nike. Good thing it has options for width medium or wide. I went with wide and it has plenty of toe room. Weight is not bad at all compared to other max cushion shoes. I think its light enough.

Pros And Cons

Not owned Vomeros so comparing them to the Invincibles, I’m a solid runner who averages about 90k/week. I found them to be really well cushioned and lighter than the aforementioned Invincibles. However I found them to be quite unstable, I felt the slightest alteration in terrain led to stress in my ankles and knees. Maybe my running style doesn’t suit these trainers, but based on my experience so far I would revert to a more stable model rather than these.

Great Cushioning…

Was having some slight pain in my heel during my 4 mile walk/run each morning. Bought the Vomero because of the cushioning claims made by Nike. I was so pleased with the results, I have since purchased two more pairs for future use.
