The padding around the ankle of these Winflo 11s is too bulky for me / it rides up around my ankle when I walk (with every step / very noticeable and annoying), so I'll be putting these in the donation bin in hopes that someone can use them. Prior versions of the Winflo, particularly the Winflo 8, 9, and 10, had a much lower and more streamlined ankle area so you could slip in and out of them relatively easily, whereas the ankle area of the Winflo 11 wears more like a low-cut boot. In addition, the sole is also about 1/4 of an inch taller than the soles of prior Winflo versions, or any Nike Pegasus that I've ever worn – they provide a nice cushioning / give you spring in your step, but I can see where some people might have stability issues when wearing these sneakers, particularly on uneven surfaces. On the plus side, the sizing was right. I’ve always taken a Men’s 9 Medium in all Nike Winflos and Pegasus sneakers and these Men’s 9 Mediums fit well length and width-wise.
