Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cutting the skin of the ankle joint First I want to point out that I owned Zoom Fly, Zoom Fly SP, ViporFly 4% and Pegasus 35 Turbo. They are all my favor shoes. So I thought Zoom Fly Flyknit with carbon fiber will be another great shoes for me. Almost except one serious flaw. The side of the shoes sticking too high and cutting the skin of the ankle joint. All other shoes have a curve around that area but not this shoes. I couldn't use it to walk for a short distance without hurting. Now, I am wonder if I am the only one having this trouble with this shoes since there are no review I read talk about this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoes I don’t usually right reviews on shoes but I had to write about these shoes. First of all let me say I’m not a “runner” I only run about 4 miles per week. I’m not training for a marathon and I’m just a guy that is getting more into running slowly. I am writing this review based on the durability of this shoe. My right foot is half a size smaller than my left, so the carbon fiber plate in this shoe makes the right shoe slip off my heel. The lockdown in the shoe is great but I was not anticipating that little snag. I really put some strength into those shoestrings and that shoe really locked down!! They are fantastic shoes and are still doing great! I was worried the shoe would fray or just flat out snap but it just locks me down and I’m off!! Great job, great shoe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe product I felt I needed to share this in case anyone is going throughout the same foot problem as I am. For the last 6 months I have been running on the “Nike zoom flyknit ” shoes and honestly I’d never thought they would last 400 mile. Originally I had purchased the issue because I was looking for some cushioning that will give me some relief with my plantar fasciitis problem I have been Dealing with for the last two years, and every since I started running on this Shoe and I have experience relief with pain and soreness. This issue has already 403 miles and the outsole is holding very good. I must say much better than any other shoe I have worn. Brooks,Saucony, and lots of other brands that runners normally would run on. Give them a try and judge for yourself! Hope this help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like the Little Brother that tags along... I did a 20 miler in Pegasus Turbos, a 22 miler in Zoom Fly FKs, and the full 26.2 in new Vaporflys. These are a distant 3rd place. It was a nice idea to try to mate the full carbon plate to the less expensive shoe, but the solid block of react foam is just too heavy for it to work well. The end result rides hard as a rock. The sock like upper is fine with ZoomX, but with this sole it just felt like you were swinging a brick around on the bottom of your foot. The fit of the shoe is also a bit odd, it seems to curve inward at the toes, but the biggest issue I found was that the insole isnt glued down like it is in the 4%. Any water or sweat that ended up in the shoe (which is a guarantee), makes the insole float and squish around. If you need race shoes and cant find the 4%, go with the Turbos instead of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing shoe! Great update from Nike, already loved the original Zoom Fly. This is a lighter and more responsive version. It’s my first Flyknit shoe and it fits like a glove. The 4% is probably the best long distance road racing shoe out there and this is close behind and can still be used as an everyday trainer. Incredible to have so much cushioning and still be able to click off fast miles. Can’t wait to try the upcoming 4% Flyknit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very soft but order 1/2 size down for Flyknit This is a great shoe as its very cushiony and feels good on the feet. The Flyknit forms to your feet and I prefer it over traditional uppers on shoes. The only problem is its hard to lock your foot down with the laces since they are not designed in a traditional way. I ended up purchasing a 1/2 size smaller and the shoe fits perfect. The Flyknit expands so I didn't need my true size and now I am able to lock my foot into the shoe better. I hope Nike makes more of their shoes in bright colors like the Light Blue which is almost sold out as their other darker colors dont seem as popular. Also I do hope they design a lacing system which will lock your foot into the shoe better than what they have now. Overall its a great shoe for all runs and I switch it out with my Streak 7 throughout the week. Just make more shoes in brighter colors and a better locking system and this shoe will be perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but definitely not great. I had the Zoom Fly SP, and unfortunately they only lasted me a month before one of the rubber pods came off the bottom, but other than that and them running a whole size small, I loved em. I upgraded to the flyknit, expecting to love these more than the SP. But after about 5 runs, my biggest complaint is a total lack of lock down. Unfortunately with the flyknit, and the absence of flyWIRE, getting a good lock down, especially in the heel, is almost impossible. Secondly, wearing higher cut socks is a must, due to rubbing of the ankle area. I had the same problem with the epic react, although not as bad. Other than that, even though the plate is an actual carbon fiber, and it has react instead of lunarlon, I felt the ride really felt the same. Which isn't bad, considering the SP improved my running times by over a minute. So if lockdown is important to you, I'd say stick with the original or SP versions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like Dura Ace for your feet Best shoe I've ever had – Highly Responsive, Durable, Breathable, Light, Propels Forward, Encourages high cadence, Good for racing OR training, sleek and simple aesthetics, right amount of traction with some “float" for road. Overall this is the first shoe I've owned that literally feels like a "ride", it automatically puts me in a more efficient and proper "forward leaning posture" without having to constantly think about fixing that. It did take about 1-2 weeks to get used to the carbon fiber, as I used to run in predominantly bendy shoes. Now that my arches have adapted they feel just perfect. Speaking of arches, I’m so glad these have very little, allowing feet to function without the “crutch” effect. I can't wait to put them on for each run, they make running so much more enjoyable and fun, riding through the miles. Bravo Nike Designers! Now I just need to set up Go-Fund-Me to try the Nike Vapor Fly ;-)
