Best Steeple Spike Yet
I have been competing in the Steeplechase since 1991 and this spike by far has been the best spike that I have ever competed in for this event. I have also used it to compete at other middle distances.

Great Spikes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These spikes are perfect from the 800 to 3200. The inbedded spikes stay sharp for multiple seasons .

Perfect Spike
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spike is comfortable and is made perfectly for when you run. I feel like Im wearing nothing because theyre so light and it gives amazing grip to the track. It fits to my foot perfectly and keeps it in place. I would totally recommend this spike.

Great Spike For Any Mid-distance Runner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very pleased seeing this spike out of the box. While it looks slightly orange in color in the picture, it really looks like a bright pink. The colors reminded me of a cracked-out watermelon; I love it. The fit is perfect. The fact that the tongue is built into the collar makes for an incredibly snug fit. It's a little hard to get on at first, but once it's on you won't want to take it off. I normally order a half size up for Nike track spikes. Normally, I wear a men's 10. But I feel the track spikes run small, and a 10.5 fits me the same as a 10 would, so I recommend ordering a half size up. I love the carbon fiber in the sole plate, that was the reason I choose this over the Zoom Victory 2 (I would have bought the Zoom Victory Elite but to my disappointment I discovered they don't sell these from this website anymore). The mesh upper feels very durable, I can't imagine this ripping any time soon. However, there is one aspect of this shoe that REALLY disappointed me. I missed this part when I was reading the product benefits, but the spikes of this shoe are permanently fixed into the outsole. I saw this and it made me very sad. I don't understand the reason for permanent spikes. I run on a lot of different tracks, some are very hard. I am very worried that the spikes will wear down and become "nubs," which will prevent them from digging into the track. If someone from Nike could respond to me and explain to me the benefits of fixed spikes, I would greatly appreciate it. Overall, I really like this spike. It can fit most any kind of foot, the materials look very durable and the carbon fiber in the shoe will add responsiveness that helps spring your foot forward. Still, the permanent spikes bug me a lot, and I think Nike should have done a better job of pointing out the word fixed in their product benefits.

Brilliant Steeplechase Spike!
I love the new mambas, the sock style fit are brilliant for steeplechase especially the water jump they feel secure throughout the whole race. They are weightless and drain water very well! Unlike the old mambas there aren't any weak spots along the stitching so hopefully wont rip! The only down side are that the spikes aren't removable, other than that they are brilliant!
