I picked these up needing to update my gear after having picked some up for my kids. Easy slide in and out and not sticking to my legs when I sweat it out playing. Nice and light and you forget you have them. Nice piece of gear to have and it's nice to move on from the old gear I had with the foot stirrups after all these years. Grab these Lites. Worth it.

Good Fit
My son really likes this style of shin guard. We had bought a size too big and these were a perfect fit. He prefers them over the ones with the straps.

These Shin Guards Do Not Protect Against Hard Hits
I bought these shin guards believing they would provide protection against hard hit but my leg snapped while using them. I used the shin guards the way they are meant to be worn and the shin snapped underneath the area of shin guard coverage. I would not recommend

Major Design Flaw
These look cool and work week but have a major design flaw. Moisture (water out sweat) gets into the holes so unless you have time to wash and dry with a hair dryer after each game, you will likely end up with a moldy and gross smelling shin guards. It's a shame bc they look really cool but I'm shocked the design flaw wasn't something Nike QC picked up. I can't imagine the 4/5 start reviews here are from actually players using them from game to game.

Sweat Condensation + Small Open Holes = Mold.
I would not recommend these. Sure they’re comfortable but the holes on the side that touches your skin, allow sweat condensation in. Then mod can grow between the clear outter wall and the padding. We’ve had them less than a month and I just had to use a hair dryer to dry them but I still can’t clean the mold. I’ll be buying something to replace them as soon as possible.

Design Fail
Pooling sweat and turf collects in the shinguard. Need I saw more? Come on NIKE...you can do better.
