Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good idea, not the best quality I bought this for my son to play baseball in. He tends to get hit by a pitch a lot and needed protection on his shins. The Velcro attachment on the shinguard is very poor quality, it is already peeled back, maybe 4 uses.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but size runs small We like that the shin guard separated from the ankle guard. The size runs small so be careful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice gear These were great purchases for our 10 year old daughter. Very convenient for pad removal and relaxing between games. The ankle sock portions are a bit difficult to get on and off, but hold very well during games. It would nice if the calf straps were elastic versus nylon straps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality We purchased these for our 7 year old, and after one wear the Velcro that connects the ankle protection to the shin guard was peeling off. They also didn't stay attached, and he had to remove the shin guard during practice because it was flapping around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ankle guards, just what we needed! My 9 year old really likes them! She had been kicked in the ankle the week before and the ankle guards were exactly what we needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointed We bought these for my eight-year-old son who is on the verge of outgrowing the size small so we bought him a medium. The anchor protection part was so tight that we struggled to get his feet into it. I assumed they just need to be broken in, but after a few wears the foam protection part started to split in several places. I returned them and went up another size to large. The ankle support fit perfect, but now the shinguards are so big that they slide all over the place. I ended up getting this to stars because the design looks good, but for these to be great they desperately need to resize the ankle protection. Also my kid was pretty slim so it's not that his feet are abnormally big. He wears a size 2 in shoes.
