For Mom, who is always looking for a good high waisted sweatpants these ones I definitely would go up a size someone without a flat stomach. For reference, I personally have a gastrointestinal disease with frequent weight fluctuation between 135 and 155. Currently wearing them I’m 145, 5’3 and purchased a small. They feel short on me for a small, I love the rise and the comfort, but wish I would have purchased a medium for a more comfortable ok and feel.
