Nice Looking Bottle But A Pass On This. Design Flaws!
The overall look of the bottle is nice. The bottle seems sturdy and well built. Visible markings on the outside make it easy to measure the amount of liquid you put into the bottle. The bottom is rounded and has a fin like texture that seems to help with the blending. The rounded bottom makes it fairly easy to clean the bottom of the bottle. There are several color choices for the logo on the cup and the mixing device inside. Don't like one of them, switch it out with another part from a different cup. Heck....... no one is going to know except you. This bottle looks like it would work excellent. Not the case though. I wanted to like this blender bottle but it has some issues. The first thing was the blending. It blends "okay" but does not completely break up the powders. They still seem to clump somewhat. The top is a disaster. Although it does not seem to leak, the lid has a cavity in the part that closes the piece you drink from. It is hollow, (see picture). When you shake the bottle powder get stuck up into the hollow area making it IMPOSSIBLE to clean. It's like mud and will not come out. I had to use a small pipe cleaner in order to even get close to getting the remaining powdered mud out of the caps cavity. Next, when you go to take a drink the cavity traps some liquid as well. As soon as you tip the bottle to drink you end up with some of that liquid dripping down on to your face. The design concept is good but CLEARLY whoever designed this shaker did NOT think this through or bother to try it out. I'm pretty sure that no one at Nike did. The price is right at $26.00 USD but in my opinion not worth it and I would not recommend it. I would pass on this bottle.
