Son Loves These

I finally got them when they were in stock. My son loves them

Turf Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes have been great to wear to my daughter's practice. Sometimes I join in on the scrimmages and these still give great traction on the field. I also have the cleat version of this and both fit true to size. I like the low profile sole, it helps keep me from breaking an ankle on the youth fields. The upper is pretty breathable a so my feet don’t get too hot in the Florida humidity. Overall this is a great turf shoe. I think these will probably last a couple seasons of weekly scrimmages.

Wow!!

When I first got them I was a little worried they were not going to be comfortable for all day wear!! Oh my gosh they are so comfy! No knee pain (I’m almost 66)! Soooo many complaints! 1000 percent satisfied!

Amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy TF has been a game-changer for me on turf. The heel Air Zoom unit gives me explosive acceleration, making it easier to break past defenders. The NikeSkin upper provides a barefoot-like feel, improving my touch and control, especially during fast plays. Traction is another highlight—the rubber outsole grips the turf well, keeping me stable even during sharp cuts and quick changes in direction. I also love the adaptive knit upper, which molds to my foot for a snug but flexible fit, enhancing comfort and responsiveness. Overall, these cleats have made me faster, more agile, and more confident in my ball control. If you play on turf and want a lightweight, high-performance shoe, I’d highly recommend them!

Exceeds Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy TF Low-Top Soccer Shoes, I was able to make stronger cuts while running the field. It felt like I was in total control, and they looked great while doing so. I got a lot of compliments on the look and color of them.

A Little Top Heavy/slippery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes were snug when I first put them on, bordering on too snug. Once I got used to it I actually liked the ball control with them on as it felt like there was nothing there. I could run just fine and the material was nice and soft enough so there were no pressure points, which I can’t say about all Nike soccer shoes. My only issue was the width of the base - I tried cutting a few times and either slipped it almost rolled my ankle because they felt top heavy with a narrow base. I may just have been playing on the wrong surface so will try them again in the spring when back outdoors.

Amazing Comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These soccer shoes have a great amount of cushion. The comfort is so amazing. That was the first thing my son said while trying them on. He loves the style and design of the shoes. He will have to see how they hold up while playing indoor/turf. As of now he says the fit is perfect, we did get his regular shoe size with no problem of it being too small or tight. So that would be an individual choice if you need to size up or not. I think your soccer player will enjoy these soccer shoes and should definitely give them a shot. Good job Nike! I hope they do not change the fit of these as when there is change or new models sometimes they change things that don’t need change.

These Turf Shoes Rock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I play soccer in both turf and natural grass fields. These shoes fit well and are true to their size. They feel light and have better comfort than previous iteration of turf shoes. The design is just a plus, the color patterns and the art-like graphics make these shoes stand out when I’m playing. The fabric feels strong, well crafted, and not uncomfortable. The fabric is perfect for both summer and winter seasons. They feel airy and fresh enough for summer and yet keep your feet warm and dry in the winter. I really like the colors and design of the shoes, the only thing I would change is a slightly wide front, as the fitting is a bit tight front top. Otherwise, these are great shoes.

Well-made, Lightweight Turf Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've gone through a lot of turf shoes - flat and with turf spikes, leather and synthetic, etc. Overall, these shoes rank near the top of the list mostly due to how light they are, the surprisingly good touch, and what seems like really solid build quality. These weighed in 6 ounces lighter than my previous indoor shoes. I didn't expect to be able to feel the difference as much as I did - these felt great. I do like the feel of the leather upper on my previous pair better, but the Nike Skin coating on these shoes has grown on me. I expected these to either feel really thin and flimsy or really slick. They strike the right balance between being thick enough to offer protection while still being thin enough to give great feel on the ball. The skin coating is almost a little tacky and it never felt like the ball was slipping off my boot - it's hard to describe but it's something i haven't liked about some synthetic uppers in the past. Feel-wise, these are my favorite non-leather pair of boots that I've owned. The spikes are great for different kinds of turf - I have used them on a few different surfaces and they have given great grip on both short/hard and long/soft turf. As far as the fit goes, I would say these run true but size but perhaps a little on the narrow side. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5, and my 10.5's are the right size but they feel narrow in the toe box. They might loosen up a little over time, but I definitely wouldn't size down on these. This could be because of the design of the shoe - the tongue connects to the shoe body a few inches down, which makes it hard to adjust the laces to loosen down near the toe box. Not a huge problem but if you have wider feet you might want to try these on before you buy. Overall, these are very comfortable shoes - I haven't noticed any pressure points or hot spots, and they feel solid after a few hours of games. I don't find myself switching to slides as immediately as I have with some shoes in the past! One little thing with these, which might just be personal preference, is that the tongue/laces are up the center of the boot and feel a bit wide. I tend to like boots that lace up off to the side, so these feel a bit different, but I assume I'll get used to it. Overall, great quality, lightweight, and great feel - definitely recommended!

Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy Tf Low-top Soccer Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy TF Low-Top Soccer Shoes are a great option for soccer shoes. The low top design and feel is comfortable, but also provides good ankle support for playing a soccer match or training on the turf. The design is very modern, and the shoe comes in colors that really pop. This is what I like most about the shoe. Using these several times, the shoe is lightweight and molded comfortably to my foot. If I could change anything, it would be to make the shoe a bit less narrow, though the feel is in line with most other soccer shoes I've purchased in the past.

Turf Boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this pair of turf cleats. I would first like to say how well Nike has done creating a synthetic material that is durable, but comfortable!. I really enjoyed the color scheme of the boot and felt it was well balanced and subtle, yet vibrant! It was a cool collaboration with pro players.!! cool stuff- More technical thoughts, I like the molding geometry that is built into the boot. I feel that serves a good utility when playing to create a slight advantage in terms of ball control. However, it would be nice if there was perhaps a bit more raised geometry in the kicking area around the upper inner toe areas. As well as on the outside of the foot area too. In regard to fit, they feel strong, but not constricting. However- They definitely run on the smaller/true to size side... I am a size 10.5 and tested a 10.5. It was small and a bit tight even after break-in. The tightness was around the tip of the toe and near the pinky toe. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it was notable. Lastly, I really like the quality of the midsole meeting the upper sole. This area is prone to break/crack/split due to pressure. This boot did well blending the materials at the seam. PS-, I liked the midsole firmness, just right! Either way.. I really appreciated the opportunity and truly like this product and what NIKE is doing for soccer athletic apparel. and no... this was not AI created.. -MM

Not For Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to try out these Nike soccer cleats, and while they had some promising features, they didn’t quite meet my expectations. The fit was extremely tight—even with my relatively thin feet, they felt overly snug. They definitely run small, and I think a wider toe box would improve comfort and performance. The material felt somewhat stiff and synthetic, which made breaking them in a challenge. Additionally, the tongue was difficult to tuck in and tended to bunch up under the laces, affecting the overall fit. From a design perspective, the colorway leaned more toward a feminine aesthetic, especially with the light purple accents. I personally think this style would be better suited for a women’s line or, at the very least, offered in a more neutral or alternative colorway. Overall, these cleats didn’t stand out in any particular way. While they may work for players who prefer a very snug fit, I would have liked to see a bit more flexibility in the material and a wider option for better comfort on the field.

Nice Look, Runs Narrow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband received these shoes as part of Stellar Review panels and was delighted when he first saw them. These soccer shoes have a really great look and design. My husband enjoyed the style and the lavender color way. They had a nice grip on the turf and felt secure on his foot during the game. Unfortunately, the shoes were too narrow for his feet and were not comfortable to wear for the entire soccer game. If you have a narrow foot, these soccer shoes would probably be perfect for you!

Ready To Elevate Your Game?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy TF Low-Top Soccer Shoes really surprised me. At my first look the sleek design and awesome color scheme made me think these were all show but the light weight of the cleats and how they fit perfectly to your feet; but after putting in work I noticed I had a quicker take off and felt more in control with ball handling and kicking the ball in the direction I wanted it to go to. Definitely received compliments from peers on how clean the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy TF Low-Top Soccer Shoes looked and I would highly recommend these to any individual who is looking to elevate their game on field. 10/10 and more.

Beautiful But Narrow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mercurial Vapor soccer shoes are beautifully designed with a gorgeous shade of light purple. It's a very aesthetically pleasing color that looks great on the soccer field. The fabric is very high quality and it's a very complex design on the side of the shoe itself. The yellow swoosh gives the shoe a very bright pop of color towards the toe box of the shoe. My biggest issue with the Mercurial Vapor soccer shoes is the fact that it is a very narrow shoe. It can be very difficult to put on, especially if you have a wider foot. Perhaps it would be worth going up a half size when purchasing these shoes. Once I got the shoes on, they had a very narrow fit. They felt very snug on my feet, which is good for playing a sport like soccer. However, they were just a little bit too narrow for my liking. My favorite aspect of the shoes is the light purple color. Normally you see bright purple colorways, but the light purple is such a beautiful color. I would personally just make the shoes a little wider for a more comfortable fit.
