Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best running shoes....Period Two marathons this year (Irving and Chicago), with version 1 of the Vaporfly. On each one I improved my PB by 8 minutes from my previous race. Amazing!! These two results will allow me to qualify for Boston 2019 (already registered!!) and 2020, and became a time qualifier for Chicago 2019. Doesn´t get any better than that. I am a 58 years young runner that pay a lot of attention to running shoe cushioning to protect these old knees. In my opinion, best cushioning out there. So impressed with this line of shoes that my training/racing shoe rotation includes three Zoom Fly´s and two Vaporfly´s. Version 2 of the Vaporfly are in the mail...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge improvement on great marathon shoes I got these as soon as they came out. Their first generation model was fast, comfortable, but extremely fragile. They were probably the least durable shoe I'd ever worn -- basically coming apart after about 30 miles on them. The sole would separate and the upper would wear away on the outside toe. The new current version has all of the positives of the original: springy, cushioned, and comfy, but without the negative. Clearly they went back to the drawing board and found an upper that would last. My guess is that they spent a zillion dollars on the original sole and just tossed on an upper and only now figured out the right material to last a few more miles. Expensive but worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a racing shoe with comfort, who knew? For years I've been accustomed to my feet taking a beating whenever I wore racing flats, but thankfully those days are no more. Not only are these shoes exceptionally fast, but they're also the most comfortable in my rotation. So much so that I actually look forward to using them for tempo and long runs. Also occasionally my progressive runs too. Point being, they're a pleasure to run in and I'm constantly trying to find a reason to wear them. And for a race day shoe, durability is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth The Price Most comfortable running shoe I have ever put on. I bought them to be my race day shoes, and it takes all my will power not to use them every day! From a size perspective I have had no issues as I previously used the Nike Zoom Fly and the size transitioned over just right. Shoes seem fairly durable, and will last around 300 miles or so. I would highly recommend to any long distance runners looking for a race-day/long distance workout shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Version Two.....Mic drop I raced a half marathon in my version one 4%'s this Sunday. They feel like no other shoe I have ever put on my feet over the last 40 years. The combo of the Zoom X lightweight cushioning with the carbon fiber plate make these old legs feel like going fast! Great responsiveness and felt very natural on my feet. Ran beyond my expectations for the day. Today I got Version Two of the 4%'s in the mail. Not only do they look amazing but the added Flyknit upper makes the fit perfect. Version One was a little bigger in the toe box than I would prefer but not bad, but Version Two has nailed it with a glove like fit. Based on the fit, I went up a half size and it is perfect. No wonder the elites are crushing national records right and's gotta be the shoes! If you can get your hands on a pair of these shoes...just do it. #justdoitfaster

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You do fly, even on wet ground I like everything about it except next edition really needs to have women's version with narrower ankle. I checked off "runs big" only with respect to the ankles for women: hard to cinch down so shoes feel loose in last 2 miles of race. I typically run up to one marathon over the course of a week. I usually avoid wet roads but no longer need to do so with these shoes. Would buy another pair right away except Nike online already ran out!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Version 2 - smaller than previous version!! I’m a big fan of this shoe as I’ve had three colors in the previous version and have been waiting for the new version just to get my hands on another pair. Just got them and super disappointed to find out that the new version is about a 1/4” smaller than previous version. I literally measured it, it’s smaller. And now Nike is out of stock on ALL sizes again. Super, super disappointed. Giving it 3 stars just based on sizing.
