Great Style, Poor Quality

The shoes look really nice and stylish. I love the design and got a lot of compliments. But the quality isn’t great. After a few runs, the bottom started wearing out and the material didn’t hold up well. Bottom line: They’re beautiful shoes, but if you’re looking for something reliable and long-lasting for serious running, these aren’t it.

If You Haven’t Run In The Alphafly 3 Or Vaporfly 3 And You’re Over 50 You’re Missing Something

An amazing shoe! Love the vapor fly 3s but have a little bit more support and I’m coming back from a small injury and appreciating them. If you haven’t run in the alpha fly or a vapor fly three and you’re a If you haven’t run in the alpha fly or a vapor fly three and you’re an older runner. I’m in my mid 50s. You should pick up a pair. You’ll run faster and you’ll be less tweaking with the foam and they’re just plain fun. They’re beautiful they run true to size. The photo is from a Sprint session. I did recently in another pair of Nike track bikes.

The Best, But…

Some of the best fitting, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever ran in, while at the same time being extremely lightweight and responsive. The only gripe I have with these is the durability of them. I’ve had two pairs, one I ran over 300 miles in, and another that I still run in that have almost 200 miles in. Both pairs are extremely worn down, with noticeable torn foam portions and even holes in the outsole. Both pairs were only used on the road as intended by Nike. I understand shoes like the AlphaFly are not going to be as durable as other shoes in Nike’s lineup considering they’re intended for the sole purpose of running at race pace or faster paces, however, I don’t think I should be seeing this much wear on shoes that haven’t even hit 200 miles yet. So, if you’re going to be running a half or full marathon in these, they’ll do you fine, but don’t expect them to last more than 6 months or so if you’re consistently training in them. Thank you.

Heel Broke Away

After 35 miles the heel started to break away, I’ve had versions 1 and 2 previously and they wear after around 150-200 miles, these were shockingly poor quality

Lovely... But They Won't Last Long!

Love the look, the comfort and they run fantastically well. I have two pairs of which I have only worn one. The big issue is that they seem to remove more and more of the outer sole each edition. After only 30km they are already wearing away the outer sole by the heel and are eating away at the foam. For the price, the quality and lastability is very poor. I am going to sell my other pair before they get used as I know they won't last long. I hope that their next edition they address this, otherwise I will look elsewhere.
