It runs a little small, not true to size. Make sure you 1/2 size up.

My new favorite gym shoes! They’re literally perfect for everything. Super supportive around the ankle for weights and the top is super bendy and perfect for cardio. I absolutely love these!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Metcons as one of the best shoes for working out, and for good reason. The free Metcon 7 definitely lived up to the height. my favorite thing about these shoes is that they provide a good stable base, while still valuing comfort and being lightweight. The description says they are for lifting and dynamic workouts, and I have found that to be true. Obviously, these aren’t an issue for heavy running or walking. But besides that, you can do about anything in the gym with these. These have definitely become my number one gym shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Metcon 7 is the latest in a line of fitness specific footwear. The elevated heel and stable midsole are perfect for everything from squatting low to standing tall! Once I got these shoes, the gym was the first place I wore them and they were exactly what I expected and more! The stable shoe is perfect for leg days and weight training or cross training. If you have ever owned a pair of Metcons, the shoe is a great mix of comfort and stability. Even on non training days, this shoe is great for store runs and errands and an easy wear overall. This is a great addition to either gym gear or a casual shoe rotation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good quality shoes, it feels really good but I do have to mention I have a thin feet, not sure how this will feet to someone with wider feet. The design of the shoes it really nice I love the way how it looks good with anything you wear and it give you extra support and balance on the heel while working out. I really like the fabric of the shoes your feet gets enough air and keeps it cool, I don’t think I will change anything on the shoes, they look and feels good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Free Metcon 7 is a complete different feel from the 6. The front of the toe box is feels a lot tighter. I would say go at least half a size up to a full size up. Although the sizing is different, the shoe feels a lot more sturdy and secure. The perfect pair of shoes to go lifting especially for legs. The 7 feels like it was intentionally made for weightlifting and HIIT workouts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are stylish, comfortable, and performance ready! I was so excited when I put these shoes on my feet and felt how firm they were. They offer insane arch and ankle support while remaining insanely comfortable during exercise. They’re stylish and lightweight and truly the perfect exercise shoe. They could just as easily be an everyday shoe because of the amazing support they offer. User error hurt the back of my ankle the first wear because I didn’t realize the pull on strap could snap down. Other than that, pretty much perfection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From my wife: “Shoes are nice and lightweight. The bottoms do feel supportive but sturdy and could definitely see their utility as a weightlifting shoe. A bit narrow for me but consistent with other Nike shoes. I was a bit disappointed with the design and swoosh placement, it did not give the “it” factor that a Nike shoe typically brings. The back of the shoe is too high and rigid, cutting into my heel almost instantly. I would not recommend based on the back of the heel and the narrow build. A narrow build is not ideal for heavy lifting as the foot needs more room to properly balance heavy weights.”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes have been a game changer. I have to wear steel toes for work and by the end of the day, my feet ache, until I put these on. They’re comfortable, cushioned, and just what I need after a day on my feet. They are great for everyday wear. I haven’t yet tried them during a work out session, but I’m sure they will perform just as well. Highly recommend these shoes.

I have worn the Nike Free Metcon shoes for years, as my go to shoe for every type of gym workout. However, the latest edition fails in comparison to previous versions. It is heavy, clunky and not flexible enough to be suited to a variety of workouts. The shoe is very stiff, even after breaking them in. These were not the updated version I was hoping they would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of the shoe is more snug and stiff than the metcom 5s. I was expecting more cushion in the bottom since it’s thicker but it felt uncomfortable the more I walked at work. The design is bulkier than expected but I love the way they pair with my scrubs and with gym wear. I was able to mix and match without feeling like my shoes needed to be swapped out. There is some versatility due to the simplicity. I did not like the tightness within the toe and the bulky aesthetic although they were light weight shoes. These shoes will be useful for light active recovery days but not necessarily for cardio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek, lightweight, and comfortable. That about sums up the Free Metcon 7s. Per usual, the Nike branding is minimal and tasteful with a swoosh on the pinky toe area and side heel of the shoe, and THE MOST stylish ‘Metcon’ labeled pull tab. I don’t know why, but that pull tab is one of my favorite parts of the shoe. It’s giving luxury designer sneaker vibes, but with purpose, and without the price tag. I also have no complaints about the fit (true to size) or level of comfortability (high). The midsoles and outsoles have a foam type of material which seems stain resistant as I’ve worn these many times with little to no wear and tear so far. For me, this is a great shoe for everyday activities or lifting at the gym. The flexibility of the mesh top part of the shoe, while adds to comfort and breathability, doesn’t help my overpronation. I personally couldn’t wear these while running or doing an activity with high levels of cardio or quick movements. If I could selfishly change one thing, it would be a little more support for the overpronation girlies. Thankfully for me, I’m a cardio hater, so don’t count on me to be running any marathons. Ergo, I’ll be wearing these constantly.
