Very Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes have been a game changer. I have to wear steel toes for work and by the end of the day, my feet ache, until I put these on. They’re comfortable, cushioned, and just what I need after a day on my feet. They are great for everyday wear. I haven’t yet tried them during a work out session, but I’m sure they will perform just as well. Highly recommend these shoes.

New Free Metcons Are Disappointing!

I have worn the Nike Free Metcon shoes for years, as my go to shoe for every type of gym workout. However, the latest edition fails in comparison to previous versions. It is heavy, clunky and not flexible enough to be suited to a variety of workouts. The shoe is very stiff, even after breaking them in. These were not the updated version I was hoping they would be.

Metcom 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of the shoe is more snug and stiff than the metcom 5s. I was expecting more cushion in the bottom since it’s thicker but it felt uncomfortable the more I walked at work. The design is bulkier than expected but I love the way they pair with my scrubs and with gym wear. I was able to mix and match without feeling like my shoes needed to be swapped out. There is some versatility due to the simplicity. I did not like the tightness within the toe and the bulky aesthetic although they were light weight shoes. These shoes will be useful for light active recovery days but not necessarily for cardio.

My New Favorite Everyday Sneaker (And Pull Tab)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek, lightweight, and comfortable. That about sums up the Free Metcon 7s. Per usual, the Nike branding is minimal and tasteful with a swoosh on the pinky toe area and side heel of the shoe, and THE MOST stylish ‘Metcon’ labeled pull tab. I don’t know why, but that pull tab is one of my favorite parts of the shoe. It’s giving luxury designer sneaker vibes, but with purpose, and without the price tag. I also have no complaints about the fit (true to size) or level of comfortability (high). The midsoles and outsoles have a foam type of material which seems stain resistant as I’ve worn these many times with little to no wear and tear so far. For me, this is a great shoe for everyday activities or lifting at the gym. The flexibility of the mesh top part of the shoe, while adds to comfort and breathability, doesn’t help my overpronation. I personally couldn’t wear these while running or doing an activity with high levels of cardio or quick movements. If I could selfishly change one thing, it would be a little more support for the overpronation girlies. Thankfully for me, I’m a cardio hater, so don’t count on me to be running any marathons. Ergo, I’ll be wearing these constantly.

Sweet Training Shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the W Nike Free Metcon 7 training shoes. The combination of flexibility and stability makes them perfect for gym workouts, especially if you do a mix of lifting and dynamic movements. The Nike Free technology in the forefoot gives the shoe a really natural, flexible feel that moves with your foot instead of feeling stiff or restrictive. It makes exercises like lunges, jump movements, and agility work feel smooth and comfortable. At the same time, the heel feels incredibly stable and supportive, which gives me a lot more confidence during lifting sessions. I noticed a big difference in balance and control during squats and strength training exercises because the shoe feels grounded and secure without being bulky. They’re also extremely comfortable right out of the box with great cushioning for all-day wear, and the style is clean and versatile enough to wear outside the gym too. Overall, the Free Metcon 7 does a great job blending performance, comfort, and style into one shoe.

Gym Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my shoes to serve many purposes, these metcons are perfect for the gym but not so much outside of the gym as they’re stiff. However, they’re sturdy and help me keep my stance during workouts. They’re perfect when using the weights and machines, however not so much for running or walking. If these will be your gym shoes, perfection! But if you’re looking for an everyday around town shoe, these may not be for you.

Great Shoe For Workouts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved these Metcons! First of all the design is nice because the black and white is classic and goes with any workout set i have. They give the athleisure look at well. Functionality is amazing, they are so stable for lifting or doing a HIIT workout. Overall im super happy with them and if you are getting into lifting i think these are a great choice to help keep you safe, stylish, and getting the most from your lift.

Love’em

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes are really comfortable I have been using as my everything shoe and they really work. They are great for casual, training, and walking. The shoes is on the smaller and narrow size but they work for my feet, they are a half size bigger than my true to size but they fit me great! Like I said great for training but the heal is too big for squat and deadlift and would recommend something more lower to the ground since the heel in this shoe is quite big

On The Go Mom Of Two

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mother of two I am always on the move. If it’s from taking my kids to school, to Jiu Jitsu class, the gym or work I’m constantly on the go. You almost require a sneaker to be tough as you to handle the daily grind of being a mother. The Nike Free Metcon line is sleek, comfortable and meant for a fast pace individual. Easy to put on and comfortable from morning to night. My main issue is the toe box area, I felt it’s a little narrow so next time I may go a half size up! It just depends on your foot, I recommend trying on your “true to size” size and a half size up and determine your personal comfort from there. I’m planning to compete in a Jiu Jitsu tournament coming up in June, so these are going from box to the gym daily to prepare for the tournament. They’re perfect for cardio and stamina building jogging from the house to the gym and back. Jiu jitsu is a sport of mental resilience and stamina so these sneakers are motivating me to prepare more than I have before.

Summer Training Staple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally picked up the Nike Free Metcon 7 because I needed a versatile training shoe that could keep up with my summer workout routine — everything from strength training and conditioning classes to treadmill intervals and quick gym sessions. After wearing them consistently, they’ve quickly become one of my favorite training shoes. The fit and feel were the first things I noticed. The shoe feels supportive and stable during weight training, but still flexible enough for movement-based workouts and cardio. I especially liked how lightweight they felt compared to other training shoes I’ve tried. The cushioning is comfortable without feeling overly soft, and the heel support gave me confidence during lifts and lateral movements. Design-wise, I think Nike did a great job balancing performance and style. The shoe has a sleek athletic look that works well both in and outside the gym. I liked that they looked streamlined instead of bulky, and the colorway (I chose pink) made them easy to pair with almost any workout outfit. The fabric and materials feel breathable and durable, which was important for longer workouts and warmer weather especially living in the southeast. My feet stayed comfortable even during high-intensity sessions, and the upper material felt flexible without losing structure or support. What I liked most was how versatile the shoe felt. I could transition from strength exercises to short cardio intervals without feeling like I needed a completely different shoe. They really feel built for functional training. If I could change one thing, I’d probably add just a little more cushioning in the forefoot for longer runs, but for training and gym workouts, they perform extremely well. Overall, these have been a great addition to my workout gear and definitely feel like a reliable all-around training shoe for an active summer routine.

W Nike Free Metcon 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were great! True to training shoes in that they had a firm support in the sole and midsole but were cushiony enough that they were comfortable all day.

Finally A Pair Of Shoes I Don't Want To Take Off!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally found my new favorite training shoes and I couldn’t be more excited to have the W Nike Free Metcon 7. The minute I slipped these on my feet I knew they would put all of my other training shoes to shame. Not only did they fit like a glove, I love how lightweight and supportive they feel around my feet. Initially the padding behind the heel felt a little thick, but it didn’t take long for the shoe to mold to my feet and now it’s not even noticeable. There is also a supportive arch inside that just adds to the comfort of this shoe. It also helps that the top part of the shoe is a lightweight mesh material and makes it such a breathable wear, my feet never feel hot or stuffy. I find this helps the most when I wear it on my afternoon runs, because now my feet don’t get hot and sticky. They’re even ideal to wear on my quick errand runs, because of how lightweight and comfortable they are. They’re easily my go-to shoe for almost every part of my day. Even though the comfortability is the peak feature of this shoe, my favorite part is still the design and look. I love the classic black and white color combination, because it matches with anything I wear. It’s predominantly black, but with just enough accents and features of white it really makes the shoe pop. I also thought it was cool how the Nike logo was placed around the shoe in different places than it normally is. Overall this is such a great shoe. I tried to find something I would change about it, but fortunately there isn’t.

W Nike Free Metcon 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how the Metcon line continues to build on the signature silhouette style. I really like the shape of the shoe and how it fits on foot. The upper has a nice mesh paired with a thick foam sole that makes them easy to work out in. They feel great after hours of wear and I feel confident performing athletic moves while wearing them. This shoe is also great for casual wear and hitting the grocery store after a good lift. The pull tab on the heel is unique in the cone tip shape it creates. Nike free metcon is embellished all over the shoe and makes a cool appearance in the shoestring eyelets if you look closely. The only thing I would change is to remove the layer of materials that covers the mesh on the upper. I hope this layer has a purpose either to keep water out or hold the shoe together but if it does not then I would like to see it removed.

Newest Workout Shoe !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that any Nike Free product can do no wrong in my eyes. I have had multiple variations of the Free Runners over the years and they never disappoint. The Metcon 7s enhance the cushioning and I think they’ll last much longer . They’ll be able to handle more wear and tear . They’re still lightweight and flexible, so you’re not giving up one for the other . I ordered my true size and while my toe is at the very tip top, I changed into thinner socks and they were fine. Easy to move around in, easy sneakers to wear to the gym . They provide enough grip and enough cushion that you can easily do cardio and other gym exercises . The style is essentially the same, so it can easily mix into what’s already in your closet . These are part of my daily rotation now.

Fair But Not Great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Something about these sneakers is not entirely perfect for me. The fit and feel is a little tight overall for me. I wish I could say they are entirely comfortable but that is not the case. After a couple days use I definitely felt a bit uncomfortable. I think the shoe is too tight overall even without tying the shoe. I would size up most definitely. The design is very sleek and fantastic which was my main draw to the sneakers. I feel like this is probably one of the best looking sneakers and I have used the 6 for a long time. The fabric is great and I have been able to clean it real easy and maintain the new look of the sneaker so far even after a few weeks. I would definitely make it a little more wide, I don't like how narrow it is personally but I know everyone's foot is different. I would want it to be more comfortable and I will continue to try to wear it more and see how it feels.
