Why can't we get 'affordable' (ie not customized) Free RN for men?! I've had free run before and they're great, and the design is so good, however why would you can a best seller? Not sure who's running the show at Nike but doesn't make business sense - if its not broke don't fix it. Get these back on the menu.

Been wearing Free Runs for years in different models. Really comfortable running shoes! But ... this version is dangerously slippery. Don't wear them on wet road / floor. Or any surface with less traction - I've slipped a few times even on a dry day when stepping on a painted line on a crosswalk for example. They have very little traction and after wearing them for awhile what little they do have wears off. The black part on the heel/toe that gives traction is not big enough. I had to stop wearing them for fear of slipping.

To clarify why I give 3 stars and not more The arch suport is a bit to hard so rather bothers you than helps Nike free: I have always had Nike free trainers and flyknit Nike trainers because they versatile you can wear them to gym workouts for a weightlifting session and short runs Nike free 4.0, 5.0 whatever edition you name it Main reason to purchase them is as I don’t like my heel ankle to have a lot of support so the cushion bit at the back is a no Overall they are good but the arch support not be for everyone’s like Size: I am 23.5 cm or 36.5 in general without fail however for Nike I get size 4 and with ticker socks I still have tiny bit space at the front but still snug feeling Practicability : haven’t done any high impact classes yet but lengthy workouts I would assume would be ideal with this type of trainers Got Versair as well for more cushioning

I'm giving these a 3 only because I've not yet worn them but I want to give the a 1. Just bought them for Christmas and I'm keeping them because they are pretty pink and were discounted. If I can't wear them for running I will wear them for casual wear. My beef with them is that they are nothing like the first pair of Free running shoes I got from Nike back in 2019. They had stretchy laces that didn't need doing up and they were the most comfortable pair of running shoes I've ever owned. I am reviewing these now and giving them a 3 because they are not what I'd expect from a barefoot shoe. There is a distinct arch in them that I suspect is going to hurt me when I run. I buy the barefoot trainer because I don't do well with supportive shoes. These feel supportive. In addition, the picture is deceiving in that it looks like these too don't require the laces being tied but they very much do. My favourite aspect of the first pair I owned was that they felt like I was running in padded socks. They were perfect and I miss them. This is the second pair I have tried after my first and neither are anything like the original pair I purchased. I am so disappointed. I will try to review these again after I run in them for a bit in case my opinion changes but I think I'll be look at other brands for a decent barefoot trainer.

One of the grippiest shoes Nike made now have almost no grip for walking on slippery surfaces. The entire back half of the outsole in this latest version is flat and smooth. Why remove the tread?

Best minimal lightweight and breathable running shoe for short distances 5km. Very comfortable like socks. I had 3 pairs. The problem with them - durability and quality, all of them developed cracks in the sole in about 4-6 months of usage.

Awful trainers! Not the quality I expect from Nike. They’ll be going back, but not sure it will stop me buying Nike again.

Overall they are ok, but I prefer the downshifters better. These were a bit uncomfortable during my run, but only wore them once so I'll see if they get any better.

This is the ONLY Nike shoe that feels like it has actual arch support. I love the feel of the footbed. It lacks structure for lateral movement, but it’s a sock shoe, so I get it. I will likely buy every color, just for the arch support.

For these to be running shoes, they have NO support. Very uncomfortable. The arch in the right shoe is so uneven I can only wear them about an hour til it starts bothering my knee. The quality is so poorly made for the cost. Nike whats going on? Yall can do better

These are super comfortable and cute, but have zero grip whatsoever. Don’t try wearing them on an indoor basketball court because you will slip and slide all over the place. I know these are not basketball shoes, but I’ve worn other Nike running shoes on a court and never had an issue. Also only worn these a few times and the fabric is a dirt magnet. I’ve really only worn these inside too. 😅
