Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase I am so disappointed in the Nike Lunarglide 8 & 9. I have worn Lunarglide for many years and it has been my only running shoe. I am a distance runner and put at least 100 miles on a pair of shoes each month. I have worn Lunarglides 4, 5, 6, and 7. They had excellent cushion and arch support. The new Lunarglide 8 & 9 have completely changed that. I cannot even run 2 miles in these shoes without my arches hurting. And my pace slows in these shoes as my legs and feet feel more of an impact. I tried a 10 mile run in these shoes and after 8 miles had to stop. I ended up with a sprained foot due to the lack of support. PLEASE Nike, bring back the old, great design of the Lunarglide 5, 6, and 7!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wanted to love these... I got these for Christmas and have only gently worn them about 5 times max and the inside seams have already ripped. Not to mention we had ordered these under the assumption they were white, but when I received them they were a light blue and cream. Very disappointed in the durability, for the price I paid I would expect these to hold up better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ouch! The shoe looks great and feels good on my feet until I start walking around. I felt like I couldn't keep the Arch support in the right spot, and after an hour of wear and walking around, I took the shoes off and my feet were screaming with pain. These are going back to the store in the morning.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Heel Support/Arch Issues I have worn the LunarGlide model for YEARS. They have been the ONLY shoe to really offer me comfort and support on both road and trail walks and runs. This model however, HURTS. While they're comfortable when I walk in them, the second I pull them off I can barely put weight on my heels because the arch support is TOO FAR BACK in these shoes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as good as old LunarGlides This pains me to write because I love Nike but sometimes you gotta rip the band-aid off. I bought these shoes about a month ago. I had the lunarglide 3 - which I loved so I bought 2 pairs a while back. Good tread, comfortable and I hate to see those go because my runs are great with them. The 9's are inferior to the 3. Poor tread, uncomfortable, doesn't fit right and it hurts my feet to wear these. I thought 'maybe I need to break them in more' but that wasn't it. It makes me mad looking at them. I feel like a clown when I wear them because they're so wide. I'm hoping the 10's come out better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's like a shoe you can't unlace I've worn Lunarglides for years, they were my go-to casual sneaker. But this new version doesn't work for me. The main problem is that the sides of the tongue have now been sewn to the side of the shoe. There's no elastic. It's not like a slip on elasticized shoe. It's just like the shoe has been sewn closed. You can loosen the laces, but the tongue won't move. We've all taken OFF sneakers that are laced closed, right? But try putting one ON like that. No matter how thin my sock, or how much slack I try to pull out around my toes, this shoe now pulls my sock back tight around my toes, and bunches it up in the heel. Yesterday I walked around all day and ended up with blisters on the tips of my toes because of the way this shoe pulls my socks. They've also changed the arch support in this model so that it's either higher than it was previously, or in a slightly different position. My feet were in such pain because of this that by the end of the day I pulled off these shoes and literally threw them across the room. I'm now going to spend way too much money to buy the one last pair of Lunarglide 7s in my size on Amazon, because I need a pair of sneakers that won't cripple me. And Lunarglide 9s aren't it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Arch too far back The arch of this shoe is not aligned with the actual arch of the foot. It is too far back closer to the heel. Never expierneced this before, hope Nike addresses this for the next version. Otherwise I love the plastic at the heel and is comfortable. But they are going back because of the arch issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as good as the 7 Lunarglides are my go to for work (I stand a lot)and working out. The thickness of the sole is so comfortable and I like the plastic reinforcement at the back of the sole for my weak ankles. My only complaint is the new sole they started using in this one and the 8, I have no grip when Im using it to workout in my garage. Im hoping they will change it back.
