Massive Change On The Soles. Very Disappointing.

I have been using Pegasus since 2014. Every year buying a new version significantly similar to the previous one. This year is the first time I am actually disappointed. The soles feel completely different. They seem too soft, it is like I can feel the ground more and it seems like it is not a high rase on the heel part as it used to be. It has not been a couple of months and it feels like I ran like a year with them. Also the fabric is already used on the back of the heel... They are new! I have been wearing my previous Pegasus 40 again to compare and they feel better even tho they are over a year old and been over used. It is the first time I am writing a review here as I have been consistently satisfied with my running shoes (always Pegasus from Nike) but not this time, I am even considering changing brand which is not easy after running with the same for over a decade.

Tighter Toe Box Than Pegasus 40

The Pegasus 40 are my favorite shoes. Long-lasting cushioning that held up after 2 years of extensive city walking. I bought the Pegasus 41, expecting the same, but I had to return them because they were slightly too small in the toe box. I am a size 5 and it’s very rare to have a shoe fit too small.

Stiff Shoes

They are very lightweight but they are very stiff and not very padded and bouncy feeling

Best Shoes

Pricey but good. Very reliable I always keep coming back.
