This is probably my 7th or 8th Pegasus shoe, but my first trail model. I have used them for 4 runs so far (ranging from 2-9 miles), and they were immediately comfortable. For reference, I size up 1/2 size for all nike running shoes, and I have relatively flat feet.

Return
Unfortunately these won’t work and I have to return. Even with proper socks with a higher rise these rubbed on the back of my ankle until I was miserable by the end of the run. It’s a shame because the style and colors are so neat and the sizing is correct.

Great Walking Shoes, Run Small
I love the Pegasus Trail 3 so I was excited to try the 4. These shoes are very comfortable if you get right size. I took them on my trip to New York City and walked all day without any pain. They run smaller than the 3. I’m usually a 9 in women. I bought a 9 in these and they are not comfortable, I’ve tried multiple times but I can’t wear them all day. I ended up buying a 9.5 and they are what I was hoping the fit would be when I first bought them. I took the 9.5 on vacation.

Bad Traction
These shoes look good and are comfortable, but traction is HORRIBLE if there is any water on the trail. I am a frequent hiker and these really have me slipping any time I go on rocks by a creek or any water. I was walking down a boardwalk yesterday and slipped three times. My family was actually laughing because they knew I was excited to get new hiking shoes a few weeks ago.
