There Ok

There OK, But the Tongue is tight, no padding at all, the Collar is very low, you will end up walking right out of your shoe. Not sure about winter shows, but from experiences with sneakers these are probably water proof but a little stiff which can work out. the big problem is the low collar and tongue has no padding and pinches in top foot. They do run true to there size but all there sneakers do from my experience with them.

Best In My Shoe Collection

I have these in 2 colors. Best support of all my athletic shoe collection. The cushion lining around the ankle makes for a great fit. No need for time to break in the shoes. Great for everything right out of the box.

Very disappointed! Order at least 1/2 size bigger! Runs extremely small tight and very narrow The area where the shoe tongue is gave me a lot of pain

Comfortable But Not Durable

They are definitely comfortable, but here are the details: the upper part felt tight (for both me and my husband — we bought the same model), so I had to cut some of the threads because it was squeezing too much. The sole is comfortable, but after using my sneakers for 30 days straight they already have holes. We bought them for a trip, (Japan ) and I don’t think they should look like this after just 30 days, but oh well. (My husband’s sneaker are ok, mine … well.. full of holes ) That being said, my feet never got wet. (My sister bought my for me in the United States because the color I wanted wasn’t available here.)

Beware Of The Seam On The Tongue Of The Shoe! Will Chafe A Higher Instep!

The tongue on these shoes is punishing. Whoever thought a seam on the tongue, right on the rising part of the instep of the foot was a good idea, definitely did not think it through. Have never had this issue with any other Nike shoe. The rest of the shoe fits well and is comfortable, but after attempting to wear these in for multiple weeks, the problem of it chafing the instep of my foot right where the seam is, has not gone away.

Not For Distance But Keeps Dry

Not recommended for distance running. I’ve worn other Nike models and Hoka for long distance and these are the first of my shoes to have really poor support on runs over 4-6 miles. There isn’t enough shock absorbance or cushion and I really feel it in my toes. They do keep my feet dry! The waterproofing is solid.

Comfy Right Out Of The Box; Supportive & Dry All Day Long On Winter Trails

There was no breaking-in period for these -- comfortable right out of the box. I hike 3-6 miles almost every day on trails, and bought these to keep my feet warm and dry during snowy and wet winter hikes as low as 0°. These do not disappoint! My feet stayed supported and dry even in 4 -5 inches or more of snow and on very uneven terrain. I loved them so much I bought a second pair locally, since I've learned to stock up when something works so well. I never tried other customers' much-loved Trail 4 Gore-Tex so I can't compare. The 5's are not tight in the forefoot on me, I like the way the tongue is attached, as well as the soft material around the ankles. If they made these in an ankle-high hiking boot version, I'd buy those too, for rougher terrain and deeper snow.

Nice

Bought these for my daughter. She said they're very comfortable

Poorly Designed

Loved the previous version of these and wore them until the soles started falling apart. This version is poorly designed so that the top part is too tight and the back is so low that it constantly slips on the foot. Terrible.

Great Product

Good price. Looking forward to trying them out soon

Good Enough But Not As Good As Pegasus Trail 4 Gore-tex

The shoes use the "rocker" design at the bottom, which makes it stiller than its predecessor, my beloved Trail 4. In winter conditions, the bottom seems to perform well, but I can't do a side by side comparison with my Trail 4, which I had left (forgotten) at a trail head hundreds of miles away. The Trail 5 is also not as deep, making it harder to wade through steams. The good news: After the attempt to buy another pair of Trail 4 failed, the trail's management, a PA state forest, has found my shoes! But still, I ask Nike, please don't change a good thing for change's sake, at least don't change it dramatically.

Older Versions Of These Shoes Were Better.

I bought these because I've had two pairs of the Nike Pegasus Trail 3 GORE-TEX Women's. Those shoes were absolutely wonderful for actual trail walking/running. Like over roots, rocks, dirt, etc. I still have one of those pairs for short walks considering the soles are worn, but they STILL feel pretty decent on my feet. I just got a pair of these Trail 5s and I immediately don't feel the same support/comfort compared to the previous versions. It's like the shoes aren't made of the same material even though these should be better versions of the shoes. I hope Nike goes back to the older designs.

Perfect Support

2nd pair of these because they are super supportive around the ankle without being constrictive. Perfect fit for gym use.

Bad Downgrade

So disappointed. New design is no comparison to the Nike Pegasus 4 which were perfect- why change it? My heels were slipping out of these yet they felt tight over the foot. The previous heel sock protected your feet from grit etc. entering the shoe, the version 5 just gaiped and I could imagine would let anything in 🤣please bring back the old design!

My Wife Love These Shoes!

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. She already wants another pair. As I stated before, if you have abnormal feet, then these shoes aren’t for you.
