[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super functional swimsuit for lap swimming. It is a bit small on me, but it feels very secure and nothing is going to fall out. However, because it is a bit small on me it also digs a bit at the legs and arms but I think if I were to size up it would probably still work and hold everything in, if you’re in between sizes I would size up. The overall cut and shape of the suit will still support you and hold you in. I like the color a lot the midnight is a good neutral and just an easy one to pick up and throw on. The design is good and functional for more serious swimming. I wish the shoulder straps were adjustable but I think that if I sized up it would help. I like the fabric it feels pretty soft when dry and it’s really just holds everything in place. When I swam in this I felt very secure and was able to move through the water easily. I am taking swim lessons and this is a great swimsuit for that kind of activity as well as practicing different strokes. Overall this suit is great, it fits well but in some areas it feels a bit small on me and I think if I sized up it would still have all of the good qualities without those areas being so tight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The styling for this piece is marvelous. Love the lines in the back, very conservative in the front, and minimal overt branding. Classy. However, if you are well endowed up top, this suit is impossible. It then warps the other parts of the suit in ways that are less than flattering on top of not covering what needs to be covered. More stretch in the chest would go miles for this fit.

The Nike Swim HydraStrong Essential Racerback One Piece ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The fit feels secure without being too tight, which was really important for swim workouts and active movement in the water. The racerback design gave me great range of motion in my shoulders, and the suit stayed in place during laps without needing constant adjusting. The fit is true to size. The materials are great and very durable. I have washed it several times and it still looks like new. This has definitely become my go to suit for my swimming workouts! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hydrastrong swimsuit was great overall. As far as sizing, I’d never bought a swimsuit with the numerical sizing like this. I am normally an 8 and got a size 34 and it fit really well. I am 5’11” with a long torso and normally need size long one piece suits. This swimsuit fit regardless and I didn’t feel like it was riding up. The straps did dig in slightly because of my long torso but it wasn’t bothersome. The cutout in the back actually gives a little more flexibility with sizing and comfort. The bottom part in the back also didn’t feel too low. I felt very secure in this swimsuit. It would be great for active and casual swimming. The material dried very quickly as well. Great swimsuit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this swimsuit for my wife but the fit was a smaller than expected and so my teenage daughter has been using it and loves it. The material feels premium and has held up well for both swimming laps and playing in and out of the water. It still looks and feels brand new, despite plenty of use. She loves the compression, fit and coverage and has mentioned how it feels supportive without feeling too snug or restrictive. She would recommend it for all swimsuit needs but probably need to size up for most swimmers.

The sizing guide was confusing since I am used to just purchasing in the range of small, medium, large etc. Had I nailed that, this would have been an excellent swimwear piece. The fabric, cut and design was excellent. The construction looks like it would hold up to years of use. Even when trying to stretch the material over my big hips and thighs, the material did not rip or snag. I especially liked the low cut back- it added a little bit of drama to an overall sporty swimsuit. I’m just disappointed in myself for not getting the size right!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally had a chance to try out the performance collection, specifically, Nike swimwear and I actually like it. Snug fit for my size so I could go a size up but if some additional padding/cushions at the chest area would be perfect. I like the open back strap, a one piece of the suit so putting it on was easy and taking it off. Material is great, felt good quality and dried up quick. Not to mention the style is easy to the eyes and makes me feel slim. Overall, it’s a nice basic swimwear that is made great, feels great, comfy and does what it’s intended for.

The material is stretchy and forgiving, and does not hug or cling too tightly. It is soft and does not rub or cut into the skin at all. The black is a dark black and doesn’t change as the fabric stretches. This is the perfect suit for someone who wants to look classy with an athletic, sporty edge! the racer back allows you to tan enough of your back without wide strap marks or the cut across the middle. A must have this summer!
