[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants were a great look when they came out of the package. I liked the idea of the reflective material, especially at night when visibility is low. Shining a flashlight at me at a distance, in order to test it, was great as I was seen at a distance and the reflectivity did its job. The look it gave me when a photo was taken at a distance I also enjoyed, especially at night. The length of the shorts were perfect for running and really in tune with the other pants I have. However the fit of the shorts was a bit of a challenge. Although I love the look it gives me, the material that the shorts were made out of was a bit too heavy and stiff for me when I actually started running. It is something that I would have to get used to. I understand that the material plays the role of the reflectivity of the shorts, however I think I would prefer shorts that have the lighter material with maybe aspects of reflectivity on them. Again, comparing these shorts with my other more light weight shorts, I would take those over the reflectivity of these shorts. I plan on taking them hiking, which I think will be better suited, just because it is a heavier fabric, but you also have the safety aspect of these shorts.
