[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts are light, dried quickly, and stayed out of my way both in and out of the water. The waistband was comfortable and the shorts dried quickly when I was done in the water. I am a more casual user, so I can’t speak to their competitive use, it in my casual case, the shorts fit well and were breathable too! My only complaint would be the lack of a usable pocket so I could wear them around more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These swim shorts are perfect. They’re the perfect one to wear. You’re completely covered, but they won’t interfere with any type of swimming activities. They do have an underwear lining in them so that they have a very close fit. I definitely like these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with these boardshorts. They are soft and comfortable and even have a zip pocket! Remind me of my favorite run shorts but with a material designed for water. The brief is comfortable and I can’t wait to wear these to swim. I have worn them around as I would with other running shorts and they are super comfy. Great length and good design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These classic black shorts are really comfy, so comfy that I feel like I could go for a run in these. I got a size small when I'm typically xs (I'm 5'3", 108 lbs) -- the small fits great. The waist band is super soft and doesn't give me a muffin top / it's not too tight. Design wise, they fit in all the right places including the inside underwear lining. In the back, there's a very small zipper pocket maybe to fit small keys or a chapstick? The inside lining also feels comfy. Now if a giant wave came over me, i have faith these shorts would stay on, but I wouldnt 100% give it my full trust so maybe size down if you need tightness but for casual swim activities, these are perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your summer plans involve constantly transitioning from the water to dry land, the Nike Swim Effortless Essential Women’s Boardshorts are about to become your new best friend. I took these out for a full day of paddleboarding, beach volleyball, and running errands, and they truly lived up to their name. What Wins: Comfort and Mobility The standout feature here is the absolute freedom of movement. Nike nailed the fabric blend; it’s incredibly lightweight, stretches with your body, and doesn't get heavy or clingy when wet. Whether you're crouching to dig a volleyball or sitting on a kayak, there is zero pulling or pinching. The waistband sits comfortably without digging in, making them a dream to wear for hours on end. The Transition Game These are genuinely built for an active day in and out of the water. They dry impressively fast, meaning you won't be sitting in soggy shorts during the drive home or while grabbing lunch post-swim. Visually, they look slick and athletic, easily passing for casual athleisure shorts once you throw a t-shirt on. The One Caveat My only real critique? I do wish they were slightly longer. While they offer decent coverage for standard water sports, an extra inch or two of inseam would provide that perfect, worry-free security during high-intensity activities (and a bit more sun protection). The Verdict: If you prefer a slightly longer cut, you might want to size up or check the inseam specs before buying. But if you want a highly durable, ultra-comfortable pair of boardshorts that can keep up with a packed, active summer itinerary, these are an excellent investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boardshorts have a lot of things I really like. The all around design is clean and sporty, and the built in brief makes them feel secure without being uncomfortable. I also really like the pocket in the back. It is small but super handy for a key or ID, which is perfect for beach days. For me personally, the fit was a little tricky. The shorts part fits my body, but the waistband feels a bit loose. I also felt like they were shorter than I expected. The length did not give me the coverage I wanted. Someone with a slimmer frame might not notice this as much, but on me they felt a little too short. The fabric feels durable and they definitely seem like they would hold up well over time. Overall, they are cute, practical, and comfortable in some ways, but the length and waistband fit were not the best match for my body type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall design and shape of the shorts! They would be good for playing beach volleyball or swimming. The side pocket and logo detailing are nice features and contribute to a sleek design. I woild have liked them to be longer but outside of that they were pretty good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Swim Effortless Essential Boardshort is an easy throw on short for hot summer days. I do a lot of stand up paddle boarding and the quick-dry fabric of these shorts will make it easy to go from the lake to another activity. The short has a large elastic waistband which is really comfortable and doesn't feel restrictive. The size I have is a little big, so one downside is there is no way to cinch the waist. I was pleasantly surprised there is a small zipper in the waistband, which is very convenient to stash small items. The design of these shorts is pretty basic, and maybe even a little boring. One other caution is the inseam is short, so while fine for hanging out around the house or doing an outdoor activity, if you are uncomfortable with showing a lot of leg these might not be for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Swim Effortless Essential Women's Boardshort are a good alternative to bikini bottoms. The polyester material is lightweight and breathable. In my opinion these boardshorts run slightly small. I’m use to boardshorts fitting a bit loose, but these fit just as snug as bikini bottoms. I like the addition of the back zipper pocket. It’s just the right size to hold keys and cards. At the moment I cannot review on the performance in water. Unfortunately these arrived shortly after our most recent beach vacation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't gotten the opportunity to wear these shorts in the water due to our chilly New England weather, but I'm looking forward to it! So far, I've worn them camping and outdoors. They're extremely comfortable and at the perfect length. I'm 5' 1" for reference. While I appreciate the back zip pocket, it could be slightly larger. It is large enough to store my chapstick or a single key. The lining provides nice coverage. Overall, I highly recommend and look forward to wearing them at the beach and pool this summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These board shorts are a great staple to add to your active summer! They are comfortable and functional. They are made with a lightweight material that is breathable and lets water flow easily through the fabric without having it suction to your body. I love the length for a women’s swim shorts. They cover your bottom but are still short enough that your legs can breathe and get some sun. I use them primarily for paddle boarding and kayaking. They have a liner on the inside that is fitted but doesn’t rise up or irritate me when I’m kayaking. I love that I don’t have to constantly adjust them while trying to enjoy my water activities. They have a back pocket with a zipper that you can store a small item in. I would prefer them to rise a little higher over the stomach because they sit directly on your hips but they aren’t tight or restricting so I really don’t mind that much. They fit true to size. I normally wear small in swimsuits and that’s what I got. I’m 5’2” and 114lbs. I definitely would recommend if you are looking for a pair functional shorts for water activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to see Nike had a swim line which also included plus sizes. I feel the standards I expected came up a little short with these shorts. These shorts reminded me a lot of their regular running shorts. The swim shorts have a lot of similarity to their regular running shorts underwear lining, material feel, and zipper in the back of shorts. They run true to size. I am considered plus size and when I am looking for swimwear, I look for something that is going to completely cover my stomach with light too high compression. I look for swimwear not to roll or fall down in any situation, and with these shorts, when I sat down the band by the stomach area rolled down. These specific shorts are a pass for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These board shorts were a little tight, but that helps them stay on in the water. Though I would have preferred if they had a drawstring tie to adjust the tightness instead. There is a built-in brief, but it is not a typical swimsuit material, so I’m not sure that I would be comfortable wearing the shorts without either underwear or a bathing suit underneath. This also leads to the possibility of strange panty-lines, and the built-in briefs can sometimes bunch. In the water, these board shorts offer extra coverage compared to just wearing bikini bottoms, and make me feel comfortable and secure. However, when wearing them as regular shorts I feel they are quite short and ride up a lot as I walk. They were also more low-rise than expected. Overall, the material and cut are comfortable and allow for full range of movement. The zipper pocket in the back is a nice touch to safely secure your keys. These board shorts are a comfortable and flattering option for beach sports!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Boardshort is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to move around in whether you are swimming, running errands, or just relaxing on a warm day. The material feels durable, dries quickly, and has a flattering fit overall, making them versatile enough to wear almost anywhere.
