Women's Phoenix Barrel Leg Pant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 5'5" and a size 14, I found the fit of these pants to be quite overwhelming. Instead of a high-fashion look, I felt like I was wearing clown pants. There was simply too much volume around the legs, which didn't flatter my curves or my height. While this style is very trendy right now, it is definitely not a "universal" cut. The Phoenix Fleece line usually has great waistbands (this one is high-waisted and supportive), but the exaggerated width of the legs overshadowed the good design elements. If you are looking for a streamlined or athletic look, this isn't it. It felt very experimental, and for me, the experiment didn't pay off. The fabric is the one area where these pants really shine. Like most of the Phoenix Fleece collection, the material is excellent. It’s a mid-weight, brushed fleece that feels soft, premium, and cozy. It has enough structure to hold the "barrel" shape (for better or worse) and feels like it would be very durable over time. What I liked most: The quality of the fleece. Nike knows how to make a comfortable, high-quality sweatpant that feels built to last. What I would change: The proportions are just too extreme. I would reduce the volume in the leg to create a more wearable "tapered" look rather than a full barrel. If you love an avant-garde, oversized look and have the height to pull it off, you might enjoy these. But for those of us with more average heights and curves, the "clown pants" effect is real. I’ll be sticking to the standard Phoenix wide-leg or jogger styles instead.

Perfect For Petite Post Menopausal Women With A Belly!

Fits this old body very well. 5'1" tall and 122 lbs. Comfortably loose and stylish! Great pockets! Great find!

Great Sweatpants

Great sweatpants! I absolutely love the cut and the length! I’m 5’2” and the sweats are the perfect length for me just coming above my ankle. These are very roomy and comfortable as well! The only issue I have, albeit slight, is the sizing. I ordered the size medium but probably could have gotten away with a small as they do run on the bigger side even in the waist. Overall, great pair of sweatpants!

Eye Catching

I love the barrel sweatpants very soft and comfortable the top although bought separately matched the pants perfectly, both pieces live up to Nikes high standards for quality.

Love these and the fit I just needed a bigger size for the fit I wanted

Versitile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Phoenix barrel leg pNt is definitlet a statement piece. The fit is extremely oversized- at 115 lbs I could wear them, and someone around 180 lbs could as well. I've included photos to show the fit on both. While the roomy cut is trendy and relaxed, the sizing feels a bjy excessive. The feel is where they lose some points for me: the seams running down. The middle of each leg can get uncomfortable leg. Especially if you're wearing them for a long stretch of time. The design itself is bold and modern. I really like the modern barrell leg silhouette, which gives them a unique edge compared to standard sweats. The fabric feels durable and structured, not thin or flimsy, though it's not the softest Nike material I've owned. What I liked most was the standout look-they can be styled.uo.or didn't and definitley.make an outfit feel more fashion-foward while still.l feeling so bit.cozy. What Id change is the seam.placememt and sizing accuracy, a softer inner finish would go a long way toward comfort. If you're going for am style and love.oversizds pieces, these are worth a look. Ifncomfort and fit accuracy matter most to you, they may fall short.

Barrel Pant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: the barrel pants definitely fits the aesthetic of a barrel pants and I would for sure call the style a true barrel cut. The material if soft and warm on the inside but smooth to the touch on the outside. Give the barrel cut, these are very easy to move in, and very non restricting. Given that- you could even easily pull them over a pair of shorts for after a workout. The not so good: the cropped length was a bit strange. I am on the short side, so this looked a tad strange on me, but would probably be better appearing on someone taller. I did not like how the seams (necessary to give the pant its barrel fit) felt against my skin. It was bit rough constantly brushing against me. Given the barrel cut, it is a lot of fabric and that was noticeable when moving around. Not necessarily in a bad way, but I was aware of it. And typically that’s not something that crosses my mind when wearing sweatpants. Overall I would not buy these, as I am short and they were just too wide and cropped at an odd length for me. However, someone taller might find them more appealing.

Feels Good But To Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these pants for my honest review and I will start with the pros. I like the feel of them and I love anything with pockets. They are very comfortable for the wide leg or barrel leg so if you have thick thighs and want a loose fit this is the pants for sure. They are warm but won't overheat you which is a plus in Texas. The cons: Now I am not sure if they come in a tall (as I am 5'11") but these are definitely not ankle length. They are more like gauchos more than anything if your 5'10 and above. I also would say they do run a bit large. I usually wear a xl but got a large and I feel I could have gone down to a medium in these pants because they are like a oversized pant. Overall these would be my go to if they came in a tall but if they didn't I wouldn't recommend for anyone 5'10 and above unless your looking for a gaucho or capri type barrel leg.

Lounge Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying yesss Nike! These buttery soft pants are my new favorite. I’m 5’2” and these hit me right by the ankle. The length is perfect and that’s always an issue when I buy pants. The material has a little thickness to it and is so soft and comfortable. They feel very high quality and not like they are going to fall apart after being washed a few times. The fabric feels breathable which is great for Florida weather because it’s always so hot. These are perfect for lounging around the house. The sizing is good as well. I easily fit into a small. I will be hanging out around the house often in these barrel legs pants.

Nike Phoenix Barrel Leg Pant – Comfy And Stylish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worn the Nike Phoenix Barrel Leg Pant a few times now, and overall I’m really happy with them. The material is incredibly soft. It feels great against the skin and makes these pants perfect for lounging around the house or running errands in comfort and style. I’m 5'3" and 130 pounds, and I usually wear a medium. These pants fit true to size, which was a relief. The wide leg design is super flattering and gives a relaxed, modern vibe that I love. The only downside I noticed was the seam at the knee. It rubbed a little when I walked, which was mildly annoying. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you’re planning to wear them for extended periods of walking. Overall, these pants are a great addition to my casual wardrobe. Soft, stylish, and mostly comfortable - I just wish that knee seam was a bit smoother!

Comfortable And Lounge Worthy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Phoenix Barrel Leg pants are very comfortable and easy to wear. The fabric feels soft but holds its shape well, and the relaxed leg gives them a nice casual look. They fit true to size, and the waistband is comfortable for all-day wear. There is a looped string in the waistband for a more secure fit if you should choose. These pants are better for everyday use and lounging rather than workouts in my opinion due to the loose fit and flow of fabric. A feature that stands out to me is the full size pockets. I can easily fit my phone and small card holder in my pockets and have no threat of them falling out. These pants are marketed as an ankle cut but I find them a bit short and the overall length to be odd for my height. This style isn’t something I’d ordinarily choose for myself but I will say their comfort and ease of wear changed my initial impression.

Comfortable And Stylish But Runs Big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Nike Phoenix Barrel Leg Pant - they're an elevated sweatpant with a modern cut. They're super soft and warm and I expect I'll wear them throughout the fall and into the winter. I really like the shape but would caution they run big. I'm 5'4" with an athletic frame and have these pants in a size small. The waistband is bordering on loose (but has a drawstring to tighten) and the drop in the crotch is pretty low. I understand these pants are a more relaxed but but think I'd be more comfortable in an extra small and would advise ordering down if between sizes.

Great Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love these sweats! The material is super soft and thick. I can’t wait until winter cozy up in these. I can tell they’re made well and will hold up like all the other Nike apparel I own. I was a little hesitant on the design just because I’m a 30 something mom with 3 kids and the style seemed to be what the high school kids are wearing. I’m so glad I tried them because wow they’re so flattering and comfy! They make my waist look small and my legs look long. They also make my butt look nice which is shocking. I also love that they don’t drag on the floor. The sweats fit true to size and it also comes with an adjustable waistband for when you want the pants to sit higher on your waist. The only thing I didn’t like is the looped drawstring. Maybe I’m not using it right but I found it hard to tie and untie every time I went to the bathroom. Overall I absolutely love these and they will become part of my everyday wear once the weather cools down.

Too Wide, Comfy Loungewear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric of these pants is exceptionally soft, made with high-quality material, and the color is a rich, deep black. I also appreciated the inclusion of pockets and the hidden internal drawstring, which allows for adjustability. That said, the fit was not ideal for me. I typically wear a Large or XL depending on the brand, and I chose the XL. Unfortunately, they were far too loose—likely a Large would have been more appropriate given the flexibility of the fit. At 5'2", I also found the overall cut unflattering, as the pants are uniform in width from top to bottom, creating a boxy silhouette. Overall, while I loved the material, color, and functional design details (pockets and drawstring), the overly loose fit did not suit my frame. For those who prefer or look great in a relaxed fit, these may work well, but they were not flattering on me personally.
