Don’t Buy If You Want Dry Feet!

Not waterproof like the say, really disappointing in the weather proofing. Comfortable shoe otherwise.

So Cool

So comfortable and I absolutely love the color and design!!!

The 6 feels big and 5,5 too small . Also have these wrinkles and creases on the sides . For the price could be made nicer . Very light tho and fun color !

Perfect For Walking, Run

LOVED CONFORTABLE.........................................

Lightweight But…

The shoes are very lightweight and very nice fit, however, it always gives me blisters on the back of my heels. at first i thought it just needed some breaking in, but every time I use it, after 10min on it, they were giving me pain and blisters start to appear. I tried multiple times, i wanted to use it (this pair is not cheap) but i cant, and unfortunately wont be able to return it.

Disappointed Wear

I don’t Sherie reviews but I feel like Nike should know. I have been running/racing in Nike trail shoes for years. I was super excited to try these because of the carbon plate. The vibram soles are a dream on quick rock scrambles. The shoes are comfortable with a larger toe box and I really liked the carbon feel on the quick downhills or flatter trail when trying to run quickly. But my one complaint, and it’s big, is the coloring and material they use, look horrible after just 1 run. I first thought it was just because my first pair was white but after wearing the red pair on 1 trail run, with no water, no mud, they look horrible. This is too bad because these shoes look super cool right out of the box. Shoes this expensive shouldn’t look this bad after one run. All of my other Nike trail shoes look pretty good despite running through mud, river beds and snow. Please fix this problem, because the shoe has potential.

Comfortable Trail Racing Shoe

These are great - highly cushioned but stable. I would use these on moderate trails but nothing too technical. My only complaint would be the padded tongue - it's hot! The shoe fits wider than typical Nikes.

Where Is The Nike Style And Fit I Used To Love

These look very big in the toe and once I knicked named them clown shoes I couldn't keep them. It seems hard at the moment to find a Nike running shoe I like and I am disappointed that Nike launched a 25% of offer the day after I bought a pair of shoes and then I couldn't buy the same shoes at the reduced price. This has left a bad feeling. What is the point of being a member if you can't take full advantage of offers.

100% Yes

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite (6.5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you’re not gonna get any pressure on your toenails and they’re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They’re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I’m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don’t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don’t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You’re definitely gonna feel that. I’m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there’s no break in time with Nike ever and I’m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

I’ve Been Living In These For 3 Months, Here’s What I Think…

I bought these pair before going on a long 3 month travel / backpacking trip so I have a lot to say. I needed the perfect shoe that can do both hiking trails and walking around the city. Here’s my honest review: I am usually an exact 8.5 women’s, but when I tried both 8.5 & 9 sizes and practiced “downhill walking” I found going 0.5 size up was better for me. No regrats. Pros: When it comes to comfort I have no issues with the shoe. I’ve hiked over 100km+ in these bad boys and haven’t had a single blister. (My boyfriend actually bought the same pair and he hasn’t had any discomfort or blisters either). I find them very comfortable to be standing and walking in. To clarify, I haven’t trail run with these shoes. I did use them for city running in the rain and they were great. They’ve stood up to the grip. I have a pair of hiking boots with vibram grip that I love which is what really convinced me these might stand a chance. I’ve hiked in the rain, snow, mud, rocks, slippery city streets and these are about an 8 or 9 (out of 10) in grip. Pretty high. The worse they were was in slippery snow on top of a mountain. They didn’t have much grip then. They dry relatively fast. Decided not to buy waterproof trainers as I wanted a pair that would dry fast for certain hikes (Inca Trail, Colombia, Patagonia, South East Asia weather). These air out quite well, especially when you remove the sole. They are a slim, sleek style shoe. For being trainers, I did like the way they look. Maybe because they’re white(ish) but the style of them is also not as chunky as other trail runners I’ve found. They also don’t feel overly “bouncy” or “cushiony” like those other trainers with really thick soles that make you feel far from the ground. Cons: I have to start with this one — the color and the material. I have no idea why Nike would come out with a white shoe made for adventuring. It will inevitably — and quickly — get dirty. This really frustrates and bewilders me. Also, the sole of the shoe is not rubber, it’s cloth, so it also gets painstakingly dirty and not easy to clean. The material on the top of the shoe, a clear / thin mesh. My boyfriend got a tear in his shoe during our first hike — from a tiny twig!!! That was aggravating considering the price of the shoe. Our shoes are now a dusty off white / gray. I noticed this probably after a month of wear and my boyfriend pointed out why. The shoe is not very bendy in the middle due to the carbon fiber plate it has, so with each step it sometimes can start pulling on the back of your sock. Also, you’re left with trying to tie your shoes really really tight while not cutting off your circulation. And due to tying them so tight the laces get quite long. Easy to wet. Due to the top mesh material being so thin, I found that the shoe can easily get wet. If I try to avoid big puddles, they won’t get too wet, however, casually walking through wet grass can easily bring in moisture. Ahh, I’m sorry this is so long… All in all, for what I used these trainer for (which was not trail running) I give them 3 out of 5. These are my first pair of trail runners and they were way too expensive for my taste due to the other complications and little things that I felt were wrong with it. I feel like Nike made these shoes less practical and more towards “fashionable”. Hope this helps!

Love, Love, Love The “Nike Trail Ultrafly”

Love the “Nike Trail Running Ultrafly. The cushion makes my ride happy, the width of the forefoot is perfect for me & the light weight is phenomenal. 2 thumbs up for Nike.

Awesome Shoes!

The Ultrafly is an awesome shoe that manages to combine maximum cushioning with maximum support! I have severe painful neuropathy, which makes even walking challenging. This shoe is the first I’ve worn that provides both cushioning and support without pressure points. The soles are also a big plus on wet and slippery surfaces. The only issue is trying to keep them reasonably clean, especially the fabric covering the zoom cushioning. Hopefully, new colorways will alleviate this issue.

Durable And Slip Resistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes have been my favorite running shoes yet! The vibram soles make it slip resistant and perfect for trail running or running on a slick morning. The material is somewhat stiff and traps in heat, but they stay dry on the outside during my runs. I can’t wait to train for an off road race with these.

Fits Comfortably And Gives Great Support!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these Nike ZoomX Ultrafly Trail shoes! First off, they look really stylish and the color scheme is very fashionable. I would wear these as a regular shoe while doing my errands as they fit with my outfits. They give off a futuristic vibe. I would say I am an intermediate runner. I don’t run marathons but I run at least twice a week, whether on trails or on the street. These shoes are very comfortable and grip very well when I am on my runs. I felt confident with every step I took during my runs and I could pivot and move with ease. The front of the shoe felt broad to the point where it didn’t feel tight around the front of my feet and allowed me to have comfort and ease. The back of the heel had a good amount of cushion so that I was protected. I ran on dirt terrain and in some wet muddy areas and the shoe gave me great traction and grip on both surfaces. I didn’t feel any slippage on wet surfaces and the cushion and comfort was noticeable. I didn’t feel any soreness on my feet after my runs, immediately and days later. I really love every aspect of this shoe, functionally and aesthetically! I can’t wait to go on more runs with these on my feet!

Great Stabilizing Trail Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed is how light these shoes are. It's impressive how stabilizing they feel. I have weak arches and bunions, so my balance tends to be bad, but these shoes helped me feel more balanced. The fabric of the front of the shoe is nice and soft/flexible from the inside so that it didn't rub on the outside of my big toes like a lot of shoes do. I loved the look of the shoes as well, the colors are really fun and fresh, but I wish that the black of the swoosh was more matte. The sheen made it look similar to the finish of duct tape. My only concern is that my big toe poked up a bit, and I'm nervous that the wear will result in a hole over time. That issue might just be due to my particular foot shape though. I'd definitely recommend these shoes, especially if you want to feel some extra support without added weight.
