I thought that this is designed for women to swim. but this swimming tunic is very poorly designed and it is not suitable for swimming. the hands of the swim tunic are loose and very uncomfortable for swimming. because the hands are loose the water will get in as you try to swim and that is very uncomfortable. the tunic will float upward when jumping in the water or swimming and it will expose the back and the tummy. so I had to wear a shirt under the tunic to stay fully covered as I swim and that defy the purpose of the swim tunic! the material is very bad and low quality. the material deteriorated very quickly from inside. I am very disappointed in this swim tunic, I paid high price thinking that I finally found a good swim tunic. But unfortunately this swim tunic is not designed properly and I don't think that they were tested for swimming. If you want to just walk in the water and not swim this swim tunic has a nice shape and design, but it is not good for swimming.

Poor Functionality
Looks nice but it’s impractical for swimming. Once the material is wet it hugs the body. When your swimming the material balloons up and rises towards the chest. You have to keep pulling it down even under the water. Also once it gets wet the sleeves slightly pull up. So if you have your thumb through the hole it pulls on it a bit and might get uncomfortable after some time. If you take out out of the hole it will rise up to your wrist and look like a normal length sleeve. And it takes a while to air dry, even when sitting directly in the sun, in Egypt, during the summer. Overall, cute for pictures but not comfortable for actually swimming in, especially if your in the water for some time. And if you factor the price in, you can find a better too elsewhere. I feel as though I wasted my money on this. I ordered a size large top and used it in the pool for laps and fun, and used it at the beach and open water swimming and diving.

Cute But Not Actually Durable
I purchased multiple swim suits for myself and my daughter. As much as these are cute for us (I am a Nike fan), the fabric on these are not durable. We used them one time and they look terrible already. The tops are more of an issue than the bottoms. If you like to lounge around in swimwear without actually getting into the water, go ahead and buy. But, if you actually swim around, this will fall apart quickly. These suits were pretty expensive as well so I am bummed. :(
