About This Item

Maximum cushioning in the Vomero provides a comfortable ride for everyday runs. Nike's softest, most cushioned ride has lightweight ZoomX foam stacked on top of responsive ReactX foam in the midsole. Plus, a redesigned traction pattern offers a smooth heel-to-toe transition.

What's New:

  • The overstuffed feel of Nike ZoomX and Nike ReactX foam combine for the first time in one midsole: One for durability and response, the other for next-level softness
  • With a 46mm heel stack, the Vomero 18 takes runners to new heights, increasing overall stance by 7mm compared to Vomero 17
  • A lightweight, breathable mesh upper has been subtly enhanced by small touchpoint of comfort, like the foam collar and padded tongue top
  • The increased rocker allows for a smoother heel-to-toe transition

Design:

  • Soft and stretchy engineered mesh upper features zonal breathability and haptic print for added support
  • Plush tongue and lining for a comfortably snug feel
  • MR-10 last for a consistent fit

In-Shoe Comfort:

  • Newly stacked foam midsole with premium ZoomX on top of ReactX foam to amplify cushioned comfort

Durability & Traction:

  • High abrasion rubber features a new podular design for greater flexibility and traction
  • Pods around the outsole help enhance agility and smoother heel-to-toe transitions

Potential Improvements, Particularly In The Quality Of The Laces And The Overall Performance Of Running Shoes

In September 2025 I invested in two pairs of Nike running shoes at full price, based on the recommendation of a friend who trains for marathons and is one of your brand ambassadors. With all goodwill, she suggested the Vomero 18 and the Air Zoom Pegasus 41 Gore-Tex. Unfortunately, I now regret following that recommendation. Not only has my running pace been noticeably slower compared to when I run in my Saucony Kinvara Pro, but I’ve also had consistent issues with the shoelaces on both Nike pairs. During a 10k run, I had to stop five times because they kept coming undone. This wasn’t a one-off incident — it’s been a repeated frustration, and it’s disappointing to experience this with such a popular and respected brand. I’m sharing this feedback for the second time now (first attempt in November 2025) in hopes it helps drive improvements, particularly in the quality of the laces and the overall performance of these shoe models. I genuinely believe in the value of user feedback, and I hope this is taken to heart.

Amazing Running Shoes

If your looking for comfort, everyday wear, style, and traction all In one then the Vomero 18s are THE shoe. The technology is great.

Amazing Heel Support And Cushioning

Most awsome running shoes I have had. So supportive. I have plantar fascitis but love running. I saw a reccomendation for the Vomero 18 and it did not disappoint. These shoes give so much support and cushioning to my heels. Great for road running. Very happy with them!

Falling Apart After Less Than 2 Months

I wear these to the gym 3x a week. Mainly doing weight lifting and about a 30 min run on the treadmill. Nothing crazy. I put them on when I get there & take them off before I leave. I bought them in December and they're already somehow coming apart. Would not buy these again. Other brands of running shoes I’ve had for years before they start to show this type of wear (if they ever do).
