Maximum cushioning in the Vomero provides a comfortable ride for everyday runs. Nike's softest, most cushioned ride has lightweight ZoomX foam stacked on top of responsive ReactX foam in the midsole. Plus, a redesigned traction pattern offers a smooth heel-to-toe transition.

  • The overstuffed feel of Nike ZoomX and Nike ReactX foam combine for the first time in one midsole: One for durability and response, the other for next-level softness
  • With a 46mm heel stack, the Vomero 18 takes runners to new heights, increasing overall stance by 7mm compared to Vomero 17
  • A lightweight, breathable mesh upper has been subtly enhanced by small touchpoint of comfort, like the foam collar and padded tongue top
  • The increased rocker allows for a smoother heel-to-toe transition

Resisting The Trend

Nike has mostly resisted the super-cushion trend that has overtaken the traditional running shoe market. I find the toe box is slightly narrow for me, but thinner socks make it work. Nice arch support, wish the tongue was a little longer and wider to accommodate a higher instep. Sizing up a half size was too much room front to back.

Great Shoe With A Comfy Sole- Runs A Little Small

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it’s a great sneaker for high impact training. It’s just a tad too small. I wish I would have sized up. Nikes often seem smaller than other brands of sneakers.

Perfect Walking Or Running Shoes!

Amazing! These are by far the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I walk a lot at work and I needed something comfortable and first I bought On Clouds and hated them. I love them so much I bought them in two other colors!

My 2nd Favorite Running Shoes

I own a variety of running shoes. I am not a fan of the really thick soles like on the vomero plus which I also own. Aside from my Pegasus plus these are the next shoes I would grab for a run.

Too Hot For Running Beyond A Few Minutes.

It's all about cushioning and padding, which is great. But definitely not for running in summer. Got super hot within minutes to that point that I had to stop and take them off. I have used them now so can't even return. Also bought half size larger and it's still pretty tight.

Not As Comfortable

This is the second pair of Nike vomero's I have purchased and they are not as comfortable as my first pair. After a couple of hours of wearing, my left foot is burning where i have a small bunion. My first pair I can wear all day with no problems.
