I bought these for my 8U lineman who was experiencing some tenderness due to hits on his palms and scuffs from the grass and dirt. These gloves have the perfect amount of padding to protect his hands while also allowing him to still hit and block effectively. The quality is impeccable. My son has some meaty paws, but the gloves fit snuggly with good flexability. There is still room for adding in a hand warmer in the winter too. I highly recommend these for up and coming linemen that want to protect their hands.
