Washes and wears well! Durable, just like you’d expect of old school jerseys —which isn’t always the case with today’s production of youth and women’s jerseys. I purchased this in store, but you can trust that this one will be what you expect if you decide to order online. Unlike hockey jerseys, this one is structured, so it’s less forgiving if it’s too big. Perfect fit for my 7yr old. Although there’s room for a hoodie, and room to grow, it’s not TOO oversized. If you have a smaller 7yr old they’ll probably want to wear a thick layer underneath and only wear it with pants, but it shouldn’t look ridiculous. For the kids that can’t fill out the Youth Small, there’s a junior version you can purchase online — appears to be the same material composition, but i haven’t seen it in person.
