Hot, Fast, Expensive, Probably Worth It For Competitions

The title says it all. This is a shoe for a competitive mid-distance track runner, not for regular mortals. Last year's pair tore at the shoe lace hole. Being careful this year not to make the same mistake again as these shoes are made out of whispers, mesh, and carbon. They're worn for competition.

Dragonfly 2 Elites Pretty Good

Shoes pretty good main difference from the regular dragonfly’s is the cushion on the feel. It definitely feels a little smoother and lighter. My only critique was that I don’t always need new spikes but I love some of the older colorways but the colors change so quickly that sometimes you just have to get whatever color.

Fastest Shoes On The Market!

They do not hold up well at all. They are almost disposable. My son has to get a new pair every 4 races. That being said, they are the fastest shoes on the market. These are racing spikes, so obviously, they aren’t designed for comfort.

Maybe Not Great Longevity But Great When You Have Them

Im not the best track athlete but these are great for races the plate is very springy and at the end of your 3200s or 1600s you dont feel nearly as fatigued with the plate helping. The looks also dont mean much but beautiful look… for the first couple wears. These get compressed and brownish very quickly after a couple races but they are still plenty comfortable and also will have you right for some prs

Good, But No Cigar

Great spike but don’t expect any durability. After 4 meets and 8 or so workouts these are tearing up at the bottom where the foam meets the carbon fiber plate.

Great Track Spikes

My son, is running mid distance and these spikes are exactly what he was looking for. Color choices are robust and they fit him well.

Long Spikes

Beware that the non removable spikes on these are about 1/4” sadly they don’t comply with regulations in our state. Such a bummer!

Best Track Spikes

Overall a super high quality track spike. I had the Dragonfly XC’s before and these are a huge step up. I almost forgot I was wearing them because they are so light. Speed wise they feel amazing, they can handle 200 repeats or a 2 mile race. They make both feel smooth and efficient, really loving getting to wear them so far. The Carbon plate paired with ZoomX makes a deadly combo, definitely the best spikes on the market.

Permanent Spikes?

Great shoe, I had worn two pairs of Dragonflys before this. Unfortunately, the spikes in the Elites are permanent, making them impossible to wear for any XC meet (concrete, gravel, packed dirt, etc.) and limits the number of track meets. For someone who has to replace the little spikes multiple times per season, this is an expensive and impractical spike.

Won 1st In 1st 300m

This is my daughter's first pair, ran in her first track meet ever, varsity level, placed 1st in 300m. Enough said.

Size Problem

I like the way it’s comfy and cushioned, They run a half size up which made it less stable.

I Love It

I love the color, I love the carbon, I love the speed.
