I am a 3rd year Student-Athlete at Montana State University and I've been using Nike Zoom Rotational shoes to throw since I was a Freshman in High School. That is to say I have run through my fair share of shoes and have relied on these shoes to get me where I am today. They have all been great and served their purpose other than this last pair I purchased in October. I had already heard from a teammate just how bad the bottoms of these shoes were stripping. I had never had this problem before and just assumed that it was his shoes that were off, however mine did the same thing immediately. After throwing on a remarkably normal and smooth wood ring, the bottom of my shoes were torn and chunks of rubber had been dislodged. I kept practicing, mind you, on a wood ring still hoping that it would eventually smooth out but it has only gotten worse. I don't know how the quality has dropped this bad in just a couple of years, but my other pairs used to last me a year on average. This is sad to see as a longtime customer and concerning as I may have to switch to another shoe brand seeing as I can't rely on Nike to quality check their products anymore. It's also telling how much Nike cares about this product (THROWING shoes) since they couldn't even change the review style to be for throwing shoes. All of the questions about the shoes assume that these are running shoes.
