• Plastic piece allowed Nike® to remove the rubber in the midfoot, which helps reduce the overall weight of the shoe
• Midsole foam in between the plastic and rubber, which wasn’t on the Vapor 11, helps keep you light on your feet

Durability & Traction:

• The herringbone traction pattern is made of our new rubber compound that’s lighter than Vapors of the past
• Outsole allows you to decelerate, plant and back into position without feeling like you’re rounding off your cuts
