Subpar Tennis Shoe

I've worn Nike shoes forever and they've always been my go to tennis shoe, however, this one missed the mark. Seems like they used a different shoe size mold on this version. Sizing seems to be off. Ive tried my reg Nike size, a size up, size down just doesnt feel right. Additionally, material looks and feels subpar. Def. skip this one. Hopefully next version of this shoe is better.

Shoe Lace Manufacturing Error

Really frustrating design. The shoe laces get worn down by the coarse plastic grommets around the top shoelace hole. Every session — read: *every* session — I come off the court after two hours, and one of the shoe laces has been worn so thin it’s on breaking point. I go through so many laces a week, it’s added like $20 to the purchase price and created so much unneeded hassle. Add on to this it wasn’t just one pair’s defect: I ordered four pairs of these, and the second pair has the exact same problem. What an extreme manufacturing error, and horrendous purchase!

Shoe Feel

Hurt my ankle for a week, but you just need to break them in. Now they feel like the best tennis shoe ever.

Nike is my go to shoe, but for some reason these do not feel good on my feet.

Terrible shoes! No support for the ankle at all. Shoelaces getting lose after 5 minutes on court. Just bring back the Vapor 9.5

A Mixed Bag - Love The Feel, Concerned About The Traction.

Great shoe, but a potential hazard for competitive players with lateral movements. My son, a varsity tennis player, loves the style and feel of these shoes. However, we've noticed a significant issue: he slides a lot during lateral cuts on the court. This has already led to a few minor injuries. The sole's traction pattern simply doesn't provide the grip needed for aggressive, competitive play. I would not recommend these for serious singles players until the outsole is improved. I cannot recommend these for serious, competitive high school players. The risk of injury due to poor traction is too high.

A Great Tennis Shoe. Noticeable Improvement From Vapor 11

I feel as though the sole has more shock absorption than the 11s. I found the 11s to be very clunky.

Excellent Return From Nike

Great shoe, it fits really well and Nike seems to have found it's way again by going back to basis. What stops me from giving 5/5 starts is that although it offers an excellent fell and fits like a glove around your foot, I would have liked better support/fit around the ankle (the opening seems to need a bit more cushioning like the Air Max has to offer). Maybe bring back the laces v-shape from older models, it used to offer a bit of a tighter fit. Overall great shoe, I would highly recommend!

Offer The White Options With The Clay Soles!

Finally getting back to what made the 9.5 great but it is beyond me why they offer the two predominantly white color-ways in hardcourt but not clay. I’ve never been required to wear white on hard courts but frequently am required to on clay. Is it absurd? Of course, but I don’t get to make the rules…

Solid shoe all around. Very satisfied, broke them in after second session and felt amazing on meet. Thinking on getting one more pair Baige/White color but they showing sold out.

Great Shoe- Ugly Color Designs

Nike finally returning to their glory days of the earlier model vapors. Super happy with the fit and comfort of these. Feel very similar to my 9.5 Vapors. Only giving 4 stars bc the colors are terrible.
