Rated 2 out of 5 by from Go with a different option I bought the scope to put on my RRA 20" SS bull barrel AR. I went with the Nikon because I had purchased a Pro Staff 4-12x40 for my bolt gun and it performed very well. Upon sighting the P-223 in at 75 yards I found that I couldn't get my groups smaller than about 3"s. I have had other scopes on this rifle that got much better groups than this and I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't get anything better from this scope. I'll keep the scope and put it on one of my 16"barrel AR's to plink with but had I known what I know now I would have went with a different option around the same price range. I may just at pick up another Pro Staff 4-12x40 for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from P-223 I replaced a $500 butrisnscope with the Nikon p-223 and by far a better scope better zoom and had factory adjusted mil dots for longer shots way easier to use and more effective

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was a good scope until the windage turret fell off I had this scope out this scope out about 4 times and shot about 300 rnds. last time I went shooting the turret loosened up. i tried to tighten it back on but the threading counteracts each other on the assembly. So a screw got lost because i couldn't keep it tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing for the Price I was looking a scope for my hunting rifle. Had a budget and I'm very particular on style and more so on function ( hit both on the head). This scope is awesome, very easy to sight in and is so clear. Being a 40mm you will have to get a scope mount with 1" height on it (1" from base to bottom scope tube.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great AR Scope Great scope for my AR! Very quick to zero and great clarity at 100yards. Can't wait to try it at extended ranges.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clear, well-designed, quickly to zero. As with other Nikons (cameras, binocs, scopes) I've used over the years, initial quality seems good. Image is clear/sharp at all power settings. Clicks are certain and consstent. Focus is easily/quickly adjustable to individual user. Initial sight-in at 100 yds was quick and easy. Most apprecated is this design's ability to instantly reset turret scales to new "zero". Downside is ease with which the turrets could be turned in the field. (No turret caps.) However, in limoted use so far this has not occurred. Eye relief is consistent, generous, but critical. Eye must be precisely positioned to
