Worked Well

I was able to easily clean a down jacket that accidentally became a soup bowl during a strenuous overnight climb. I followed the directions and made sure to program my washing machine for an extra rinse. I did not see any film or residue. I dried it on air only, periodically removing it to manually break up clumps of wet down that had accumulated along the seams beside the zippers. It was dry after tumbling for a bit more than two hours and now looks (and smells, thankfully) as good as new!

Best Option For Washing Down Gear

I use this to wash my down jackets and sleeping bags. Easy to follow instructions.

Great Product

I use this for my jackets with down feathers & this leaves the jackets smelling good & clean. Definitely recommend!

Down Jackets

I think it does an ok job of cleaning down jackets. Have also used with synthetic insulation on accident and it didn't do any harm but there is probably a better product out there. It does leave a little residue sometimes so rinsing twice is a good idea.
