This spray does an excellent job waterproofing both fabric and leather materials. It’s easy to apply, dries quickly, and keeps gear water-resistant without affecting breathability.

Easy To Use

I caved and ordered a lot of Nikwax products to cover me for all types of needs. I don't regret it one bit! I'm very happy with the performance and I like knowing I'm covered in the future for other items.

Used on a couple different pairs of waterproof "fabric" shoes with leather trim and it worked great in conditions. Not walking thru any huge lakes, but thru taller wet grass, nothing soaked thru.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's Nikwax. It does what it claims to do. It does smell a bit funny if you use it on gloves. I often use the nubuck proof on the leather part, and this on the fabric part.

First Time User

Seems to be effective solution. I wanted a water-base (non-silicone) formula to apply primarily to my fabric + leather footwear. Did darken my new leather boots significantly after application, but I did apply generous amount all over.....product label does state, may darken leather after treatment. Bottle received was fresh batch having 05/27 expiration date__Thank you DSG !
