The Go To Glove Dryness

I won't go out without waxed gloves now. Game changer. And the sticky feel after fresh wax is great for grip on ski poles and ice axes!

Perfect For Ski Gloves.

My Kinco Ski Gloves came with some Nikwax paste and it has worked flawlessly for a long time. I liked it so much I bought some more. Love that it doesn’t smell.

Used on my hunting boots. Great. Easy to used. A little goes a long way

Worked As Described!

I liked how it even had a little bit of leather conditioning and brought the color back closer to the original darker color.

Favorite Nixwax Product

Been a NixWax user for years and the waterproofing wax for leather is probably my favorite NixWax product. I’m a big fan of leather gloves/mitts for snow sports. They overall are just warmer and more durable, but they need more care to extend the products life. Beginning of the winter season I breakout the waterproofing wax cream and treat my gloves and mitts and they are set for the season. Easy to apply as you just rub a little bit of the cream on the glove and let them sit for a bit to let the cream fully absorb into the leather and then just wipe off the excess. Stuff works for a long time and keeps your leather gloves working good for season after season. For most gloves, the waterproofing cream will darken the color just a bit so just be aware especially with brown or lighter color gloves.

Perfect And Easy To Use

I caved and ordered a lot of Nikwax products to cover me for all types of needs. I don't regret it one bit! I'm very happy with the performance and I like knowing I'm covered in the future for other items.

Easy Application / Works

I used this product as recommended by Schnee boots. It's worked great. It has continued to keep them waterproof through the Idaho hunting season, treated the leather that was obviously getting dry, and kept the rigidity of the leather to continue providing the ankle support the boots were designed for.

Five Star Product

I love all of the Nikwax products. Whatever the packaging says it does.. it does.. That simple. I have used this once a year on everything from boots… to my favorite dress gloves. It is soft.. and works its way into the leather (including stitching and seems) easily… It absorbs and dries quickly allowing for use in a short time. The product doesn’t dry my leather goods out or cause cracking or any other “moisture” related issues. But it does keep moisture out! It also doesn’t discolor my items. It made my gloves very soft feeling .. and they felt as if i had broken them in with loving use over the years. All other sprays and creams feel short of keeping my hands warm and dry with winter gloves. But this worked amazingly well from day one. Would highly recommend for driving gloves, and other leather items. Perhaps even a nice leather wallet .. portfolio etc.. But use caution (try a hidden spot for a test first if you do so on unusual items. I notice my good driving gloves didn’t “discolor” but they did become darker for a time (obviously due to the addition of a liquid product filling in the pores of the product). Good luck and enjoy! And certainly… stay dry out there!

Works well and keep my boots waterproof and the leather moisturized.

Stay Dry Keep Warm

I used this waterproofing wax on my gloves. I was able to keep my hands dry while skiing and snowboarding. Dry hands, equal warm hands.

Essential For Leather Gloves

Use multiple times a year and WOW what a difference it makes when skiing with leather gloves!!

Excellent Product - Used It For Many Years

I have used this product of leather gloves and boots in Minnesota fall/winter for many years. Used on mittens like kinko makes them waterproof… and makes them work for many years hard use… chopping wood and all kinds of wet/cold work. I never bothered with wiping off excess… working will do that.

Keeps The Leather Gloves Tough

This product Effectively Refreshed and waterproofed my leather gloves for ski patrol work. Liquid formula easy to apply. Worked well on those wet days where extra protection is needed. Large enough product size to share with the rest of the crew throughout the season. If not fully worked into the glove it can smear on your other clothing or equipment. Preheating the glove helped to get full absorption.

Great On Leather Gloves/boots

My first experience with this was using it to waterproof Kinco brand mitts. I have a pair that I use as belay gloves when ice climbing, and they're super warm and (thanks to the Nikwax) waterproof. They also make great inexpensive ski/snowboard gloves. If you pay attention at the resort, you'll see a ton of ski patrol and class instructors wearing them! It's easy to apply, just spread it around on the glove (be generous with it around the seams) and then melt it in with a heat gun or hairdryer, and it works incredibly well. You do need to reapply once a year or so, depending on your usage, but that's totally reasonable. Since then I've also used it on some of my older winter boots, and it's kept my feet dry.
