Kid Loves It

Everyone was very nice when I was picking up the bike. I bought online. Unfortunately, I found scratches when I got home but Christmas was a couple days away. I would’ve given a 5 if not for the scratches

Good Value

A good commuter bike. I added fenders easily using the build in mounting points and attached a front basket. The plastic pedals and a bit of vibration when pedaling makes me think I'll need to go back to replace the bearings and pedal.

Strong, Sturdy Bike That Rides Very Smooth

Great, Great Bike!! My son and I have both used it and it rides great and is very sturdy. Plan on it lasting for years. This bike is great for all types of people. Great for exercise or rugged ridding.

Great Bike… If You Can Assemble It Yourself

I was really looking forward to receiving this bike — it looks great, feels sturdy, and I was excited to start using it. Unfortunately, my excitement turned to disappointment the moment I opened the box. The bike arrived completely unassembled with absolutely no directions included. I had no way of putting it together myself, so I took it to a local bike shop, only to find out they wanted to charge $125 for assembly — something I was not willing to pay. I reached out to Dick’s and the review booth team about the issue, but never received a response. It’s frustrating because the bike itself seems like it would be a good one, but I’ll never know, since it’s sitting in pieces in my home.

Shifts Easy, Great Speed, Larger Frame

It has been several years since I had a new bike let alone rode it. This bike makes me want to actually ride it. The brakes are disc which is very different from my other bike. They don't stop as fast but that may be because it needs to be tuned? I absolutely love the way the gears shift. It is so much easier to use my thumb or index finger verses the old style of twisting a dial. The gears snap into place quickly and there is minimal slippage going into gear. I am 5'8" and will say the frame of this bike fits me much better then a different bike we own rated for my height. I feel like it is spaced further out and is just more natural feeling to ride. The seat on any bike can use more padding. Another huge difference I found with this bike is I can go at much faster rates of speed based on the gears. I didn't realize how different and better this bike is until I got on our old one. I will never be able to ride those bikes again because this one is just better in so many ways. The bike came disassembled. My husband was able to put it together easy enough. You will need to go online to get the instructions. That is sort of annoying. But all in all it went together very easily. I like the flat black matted color of the bike. The wheels have a reflective white circle that makes it look nice at night. I am not an avid bicyclist. All I can say is this bike is so much better then the other mountain bikes we have owned.
