Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great bike for MSRP, a steal on sale. I bought this bike on sale for $350 during the recent sale. as others have noted, the components themselves might be worth that price. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this bike rides really great. It's a really fun, active bike that rolls easily and handles really well with the rear tire tucked up under the rider a little more than most other 27.5 plus bikes. I find it very easy to roll the bike up into a wheelie/manual, despite the heavy front fork. Which brings me to the first downside to this bike. That front fork is REALLY heavy. I intend to replace it at some point, but, honestly, it really doesn't hurt the enjoyment of the bike much. At the MSRP of $700 you can't expect top level components and this fork is pretty standard on the lower end bike shop brands that cost twice as much, so at $350 it's a steal, and then some. You get 100mm of fork travel which is nice (and typical with brand names for this style of bike). When I took delivery the tires were inflated to the max 25 psi, which is fine for on the road, but makes the bike less stable offroad. When I dropped the pressure to 16-17 psi it made a huge difference, as well as increasing comfort in general. Also, the crank would nick the frame under hard pedaling (a little tweaking took care of that). In spite of these few shortcomings, I would strongly recommend this bike at the full MSRP, and I couldn't pass up the deal at sale price. I thought of it as a slight gamble, since I'm a bit of a bike store snob, but I wanted to try a "plus bike" and didn't have the $1500 for a low end bike store brand. I give it my highest recommendation. Pros: Great shifter Good tires Good fork (especially for the price) Fun, agile frame geometry Great price Easy to upgrade Cons: Brakes are cheap and offer very little feedback Seat mount is terrible Crank is very cheaply made Heavy fork Straight 1 1/8" head tube limits fork options. Cheap upgrades to make this a top notch bike? Even cheap hydraulic brakes would be a huge improvement ($60). A much better crank/crankset ($80-100). Better grips ($20). Better seat post ($40?). So, for another $200-220 on top of the $350 for the bike and you something on par with bikes costing nearly three times that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased at $350 price point- you won’t find anything better The features on this bike alone are almost worth more than the bike itself, the SRAM NX cogs, derailleur, and shifter are all worth about $180-$200 if bought separately. The Kenda havok tires are worth about $70. So given that you’re only paying about $80 for the rest of the bike, it’s an amazing deal with plenty of extra room to upgrade the fork and the brakes. A bike like this at this price is rare, folks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome Nishiki Colorado Mountain Bike!!! I bought it a week ago on Sunday with 20% off, when it had aditional 28% off. So you get 48% off the retail value of the bike and had free shiping also. A few problem I ran in to is with adjusting rear derailleur, so when I looked from the back of the bike, the derailleur hanger was bent. Also front wheel was not trune enough to be straight. On well had to fix it myself but over all the bike is great. Take it back to the Dick's if you purchase it online, they assemble it for you for free. After a tune up, I even took it to a trail when it rain for two days lol, came out like a champ.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike for the money. Got mine with 20% off coupon. I have been looking at this for a few weeks now and decided to go for it when I got the coupon. Will make a few changes to it . Grips, pedals, brakes, handle bars. This is my second Mtb from Dicks and I’m sure won’t be my last. This is a Bike shop quality bike at a discount price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice bike for the price Picked this up to keep up with my 14 yo son. He's been riding a Trek and my Walmart bike just couldn't handle it. Already hit the trails and it is an awesome bike for the price. Got it with the 20% off plus they gave me a $50 reduction on price because the tech was having difficulty adjusting the SRAM 11 speed. He said he was only familiar with Shimano gears and he was having some issues. Though I am a backyard bike mechanic, I am quite versed on gear adjustments. Had it fully adjusted in 15 minutes. We hit some medium trails and it was 1000x better than the Walmart bike. Love the 11 speed setup. Will be upgrading the brakes to Shimano hydraulic real soon as well as the pedals and grips. Nishiki may not be a popular brand, but this is my 4th one. I have been riding a Nishiki Anasazi hybrid for the past year. My wife and daughter are also riding the same. Nothing but positive on all the Nishiki bikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a very good bike that needs only a few small upgrades to be a great bike. I purchased this bike a few weeks ago and love the 11 x 1 shifter and the plus tires. I upgraded the fork with a Manitou Marquor air fork for under $200, ditched the poor pedals for a $25 set of flat pedal, put a $25 seat on from Wally World, and a $25 goose neck 45deg riser, and I have an awesome bike equal to much more expensive bikes!
