Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight, smooth gear shifting and nice bike. Only a handful of rides of less than 5 miles. BUT really enjoying the ride so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bike for the buck! i had many Diamondback bikes both hybrid and mountain and this one is very close to DB's hybrid bikes. the only negative thing about this bike is the seat. i wish it came without one since i think they wasted their time and money on the stock seat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not good quality i bought this bike this past summer I took good care of it and everything ours staying to break.the reason why I got this bike was because I wanted a fast bike this was as slow as my walmart Mtn bike. I do not recommend this bike for the price it is rather pay a little more and get a Better quality bike

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Where's user manual? Pretty good cheap bike. But there is only one page of documentation on how to quick release the front wheel. I think I should have more than that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this bike! I don't know much about bikes but I started out with a mongoose mountain bike. It was a smooth ride with the shock absorber and gears, but I tired after the first quarter mile. The Mongoose was bulky & heavy. The Nickishi is a complete different experience. It is very light and agile. I can ride a lot further and the ride is faster, streamlined and smooth. If your looking for distance, this is a great bike. I am able to go so much further and this bike is not hard on my joints at all. On the contrary, I always want to go out again, quickly, for another ride! My experience with this bike is at least a five star type ride. It has given me a new passion for bike riding..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bike, good price I have put about 60 miles on this bike and it seems really solid so far. You would think being a large size frame it would have two water bottle cage mounts but only has one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bike has exceeded all expectations I purchased this bike a couple of months ago and wasn't sure what to expect. Most experienced bicycle riders wouldn't even consider a bicycle from a box store like Dick's. But I wanted something fairly light weight to ride the Katy Trail (hard gravel surface) that I didn't mind putting some wear on, and was looking for a solid hybrid bicycle that I could modify to my liking without having to spend $1000 or more (really didn't want to spend $500 or more). I had been alternating between my road bike and my mountain bike and really wanted to try a hybrid. So while I was in Dick's taking advantage of their buy one get one 1/2 price ammunition sale, I stopped by their bicycle section to see what they had. The first thing I noticed about the Manitoba was that it was a good looking bike and pretty much what I was looking for in terms of a hybrid bike for the Katy Trail. It has a very lightweight frame and fairly high quality components for a value bike. So I bought it and decided to do my first couple of rides without any upgrades. After two 35 mile rides and one 45 mile ride...I'm impressed with the stock version of this bike. Any beginner to intermediate rider should really enjoy this bike as/is with no major upgrades. I usually only write reviews on products that disappoint me and don't spend a lot of time writing one when I'm satisfied (I should do that more). But I decided to write a review on the Manitoba because of all of the other reviews I've seen online with "experienced" bicyclists putting down the Nishiki Manitoba because it is a Dick's Sporting Goods brand. I think most of those reviewers have never tried this bike and/or have some kind of an agenda. I've tried it, I have no agenda...this is a GREAT bike! I am going to do some modification simply because I like doing them and they should improve the performance a bit, but the stock version is pretty darn good and well worth the $350 Dick's sells it for. IMHO
