Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome ride for the money! I have owned this bike for a year now and have 900 miles on it, I have added planet bike fenders and rear rack and have had no problems except for one flat from a thorn. I ride mainly on bike paths but have also gone on the road with hills, I must say that the bike had no problem with climbing but this is not a road bike and has a few drawbacks, you will work 30% harder on hills due to the shock seat post and the front shock fork and not being able to forward your weight for the climb, otherwise this is an awesome ride and seems to be built well! This is my go to bike when I ride every day to work and to relax on weekends, The seat is also very comfy compared to others I have had, hope this helps in your decision on your next bike purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First bike in sometime I had picked up a Nishiki for my son and it's been great for him so as I was looking to join him riding I figured I'd give this a "spin". So far we have rode about 200 miles and the bike feels great. We've mostly done smooth asphalt with some off-road pump track activity. The bike has felt good the whole time. If you're looking for what I would classify as a relatively inexpensive bike that can operate on road and dirt, then try it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best kept secret, way more bike for the money. Have the bike a week and ride it everyday. I go further each day as I get used to riding again. The bike is smooth, solid and a pleasure. I was certainly surprised by the quality of the ride. The gears shifted flawlessly both up and down. The brakes are more than adequate with no grabbing. I am still sorting out the seat, I am 6’2 and 220 could use a bit more rear travel but this is minor. The frame is more than adequate for me. The bike makes me want to rIde every opportunity I get. For the money and the pure joy of street riding this bike is a jem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth ride I bought this bike about a month ago and so far am very happy with it. I bought it mainly to ride with my kids on smooth trails. We've gone on 10 mile rides and it's comfortable. I have not had any issue with my rear end hurting even after riding for an hour without any padded pants. For the price(at the time it was 50% off the MSRP), it is an excellent starter bike. Obviously it'll not compare with more expensive mountain bikes but it is an excellent low end bike for casual riders like myself. I bought the bike of Dick's showroom and did not have any problem with the initial setup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for casual riding on the island by the beach Everything seemed ok when I left the store but the first time I rode the bike after getting it to the beach house the left handle gear shifter was not shifting properly (delayed shifting or not shifting at all). I may have accidentally nudged something as it lay on my backseat but I don't think so as I was very gentle. Double check that ALL the gear shifting is working before purchasing. I wasn't able to bring it back to a Dick's at the time because it was a gift to my uncle's beach house 250 miles away. It still rides ok but I didn't feel like I was getting a good 21 speed experience, as some of the intermittent gears were not shifting like I thought they should.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceptional value This bike is excellent for the casual rider. I It is comfortable to ride and it shifts easily as well. I haven't gone over an hour at one time yet but so far it has been as advertised.I had a small problem with the seat coming loose, and they do not provide a tool for tightening / adjusting the seat. Dick's does not even sell them. I was able to take the seat alone back to the store and get it adjusted. Including a proper tool at time of purchase would be an excellent idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfortable bike that adapts to add terrain. I bought the bike a few weeks ago. It is very comfortable an allows me to go uphill and downhill with ease. The breaks seem to work great. It also was helpful that the gentleman at the store made sure the bike was ready to go.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not all that good. I bought ths bike about 3 weeks ago and have had front derailer problems with it from the beginning. Also the front tire was not aligned to the frame. I was able to fix both problems by myself as I had no faith in the person that got the bike "ready" for purchase.
