Just A Bad Bad Bad Experience

I purchased the bike on Sunday at the Rockaway NJ location and was told someone will call me within 2 days when it’s ready to be picked up. Waited till Thursday when i called and they told me oh yea it’s ready. Go to pick up and nobody showed me how the thing works but fine i will figure it out right?! At home i notice a large scratch on the bottom side of frame and the battery won’t power up. After a few minutes trying i removed the battery pack and reseated it and that finally worked. BUT! The assist kicks all the power on regardless of settings launching the bike forward to 20mph if I keep pedaling and after hitting the brakes it stops assisting all together and throttle stops working. I got this ebike for fathers day and I couldn’t be more disappointed.

    Impressive

I’m very pleased with this bike. I’m a big man weighing 250 lbs and it has enough power to drive 30+ miles without me pedaling. I’ve taken it on the bike path a half dozen times now and it’s been consistently powerful. If I could make a change I’d want it to go faster than 20 mph, otherwise it’s a well built machine.

    Excellent E-bike For Knee Recovery

This is first e-bike I’ve ever tried. I recently had knee surgery, so this was the perfect opportunity to try one this time. With that being said, this bike has exceeded my expectations. It has helped me get back into biking with an assist from accelerator lever and the electric gears. Additionally, it was has worked well pulling a trailer with two children in it!

    Don’t Buy

Went through 3 of them in less than 90 days… batter my wonks out and will not charge after a few 100 miles… I bought it not knowing much about e-bikes . It’s a souped up $500 e-bike made by huffy . Noisy and chain will jump off even on a low speed bump… Forget hitting trails with it because of the chain jumping. If you are looking to really enjoy riding for miles and maybe hit some trails, spend a little more money not at a retailer. Lots of great bikes under 3k with torque sensors not the cadence sensor like this one and cheaper bikes… I went with a Peak T5 and love it.

Fun And Easy To Use E-bike

This Nishiki Otero adult electric bicycle is my family’s first electric bicycle. Assembly was straightforward if you have bicycle experience otherwise having a professional inspect and assemble always a good idea. We found it very convenient that the battery can be charged while attached to the bike or it can be easily removed and charged. We’ve had the bike up to 20 mph and it rides smooth. The breaks feel strong and reliable. The front suspension provides comfort over large and small bumps alike. We even think the seat is comfortable. Very enjoyable and fun to ride.
