I've been using these panniers for about a year now and they mostly get the job done. The good: The price-to-size ratio is hard to beat, they've held up fine, and they work with any generic rear rack but that's all for the good news. The bad: these are not rigid at all other than the flimsy plastic piece you insert to the bottom that runs from the front to the rear of each bag. The main reason for the 2-star rating is that the side facing the bike is not solid so the back corner can very easily be sucked into the rear wheel while riding unless the bags are full enough to give them form. You can see from the pic I included that I have fenders on my bike and the rear fender strut supports that corner, but my previous bike's fenders did not have that strut so they did get pulled into the spokes a few times (it never caused damage, but it could have). They also just don't look good when they aren't full since they have no support. The top loops for attaching it don't secure very well either, so it's the velcro strap on the inner side of the bags that holds them in place mostly - that said they do stay in place fine. If you ride in anything more than light rain then things inside the bags will get wet, but for the price that's what I expected so I don't consider that a con.
