Short Valve Stem

It was the only presta valve tube in stock in the size I needed, so I bought two of them. I have a Trek road bicycle, and the valve stem is BARELY long enough to get the bike pump to latch onto in order to pump it up. As soon as I could, I changed them out again for ones with longer valve stems. That being said, they weren't really meant for higher-end road bicycles. They're meant for gravel and hybrid bikes, I think.

Short Valve Stem

Tube worked fine but it has a short valve stem. Keep in mind if you are riding a road bike.

Not Recommended. Valve Failure.

Tube installed easily and worked for a few weeks until the valve started leaking and wouldn't take air. Disappointing to say the least. Also, the valve stem is especially short and barely fit through the hole in the rim. Not sure why they would design such short valve stems since most road bikes come with semi-aero rims that require longer valve stems. Most people don't riding vintage road bikes with old-school rims...
