    Disappointed

    Originally I went to buy the mongoose switchback expert. I was told by the sales person that this bike was better. He sold me on the details, but what I didn’t realize was that the bike was missing important parts in the front wheel. These parts are hard to source and it’s dangerous to ride the bike without it. I purchased a bike and when I went to ride at the first time, I felt it was off. I took it to a professional bike shop and they told me that it was missing parts to go back to the store and get the parts and the bike shop will put it in When I called the store. They told me they weren’t supposed to sell that bike to bring it back if I would’ve not checked the bike, I would’ve got stuck with a horrible purchase. I also spent money and time taking the bike to a professional bike shop to get checked out, which leaves me to believe that dick does not have professionals building these bikes

    Gerat Bike For 12 Year Old Girl...

    My 12 year old girl is happy with this bike. At Dick's they did an assembly/functioning inspection before handing it to us. I feel good about this bike.

    Nice Bike For My Son.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is listed as a women's bike, but it was the perfect fit for my 11 year old son who is on the tall side. Doesn't look like a "girls" bike, so he was thrilled. Geometry is good, components are good for the price range, brakes and shifts well -- and my son is out cruising and loves it! And that makes me happy. You could spend a lot more and get a nicer bike, but this bike is a great value and I expect years of use out of it.

    Manufacturer Issues X2 But Great Bike Once Fixed

    I really enjoy this bike. However I had manufacturing issues with the back shifting gears, my first bike came broken. Then my second bike I had assembled in the store. A few days after purchase and brining it home I was able to test it out. A piece was bent and kept banging into the spokes. I brought it back to the store to be fixed. I was first told I needed to purchase a new piece but they were finally able to bend it back into place.

    Ride this bike just a few moments ago. Very smooth ride with great gear shifts. Very intuitive to ride and feels safe.

    Took the Women’s Colorado Sport out for a ride and was very happy with how smooth the ride was. Easy for me to get up and down the mountain!

    Cheaply Made

    These bikes are an exclusive brand to Dicks. Much like DSG clothing compared to Under Armor. I've only ridden the bike on pavement and the bike is falling apart. It squeaks a lot, the chain slips, gears don't transition smoothly, or fully engage in the highest gear. A spoke has fallen out. The gear shift has broken. The shocks do not provide any buffering. Adjustments on every issue have not worked. This is the most regrettable purchase I've ever made from Dicks. Their return policy on bikes is 24 hours. It's impossible to discover all these problems in 24 hours. This should be 2-3 months. Even buying the added protection isn't worth the hassle of having to bring the bike in for repairs constantly and there is no fixing bad quality. The Dicks expectation is that you live with it. It's a fragile egg bike! Another China knockoff I assume.

    Great Bike - Terrible Assembly At Dicks

    I purchased my bikes at the Gainsville Ga location. I bought two bike here on the same day. This bike is for my wife. She really enjoys it and it seems like a very good quality bike.. However, assembly, out of the store, was terrible. I waited several days for their 'expert' assembly only to have very little air in the tires, the handlebars and seat were not tightened and both brakes were incredibly soft. We sorted all of the issues and my wife really enjoys riding the bike. But, don't think for a minute that bikes will come out of this store trail-ready. Whoever assembled our bikes didn't even do the bare minimum.

    Nishiki Women's Bike

    Received womens Nishiki bike. Have yet to use it due to winter weather still. Was surprised to see this as a item for the winter month. Plan to use it soon. I wish the seat was a little more comfortable but that can be changed with another seat.
