Rated 5 out of 5 by from No shoulder/neck pain! My mum bought this bike a year ago and wasn't satisfied, for her it wasn't hard on her back. This past weekend we went on a family bike ride and I asked to use this one, as she got a new bike and mine, from Walmart, wouldn't have made the 16mile trip. This bike exceeded my expectations. Every time I thought to arch my back, as a habit from riding a cheap bike, I relaxed. 16miles and I could not have been more exhilarated! I yelled at the top of my lungs, while riding down the trail at 20mph, 'I FEEL AMAZINGGGG!' I could not be more pleased. My mother ended up giving me the bike for free! I wake up and immediatly want to hop on and head out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First thing I did was change the saddle... Having only a 28" inseam, I needed a bike with a small frame, but one with 700c wheels and decent derailleurs/shifters. I went through several larger frame bikes before trying this one at Dick's Sporting Goods. It was a perfect fit and I loved the ride. I also hated the saddle. The first thing I did when I got it home was to put a comfortable saddle on it, along with a kick stand. I then took it for a quick 6 mile spin and fell in love with the sizing and the handling. Call me a guy on a girls bike if you want, but this bike is a great alternative for us vertically challenged men. I highly recommend this bike for men or women. It is a great bang for the buck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A LOT OF BIKE FOR THE MONEY I have ridden bikes for 40 years. I wanted something light easy to handle, not expensive, for a commuter ride here to there bike. My road bike isn't for this obviously. Looked around at many hybrids. Most at this price level were too heavy and bulky. This bike is light, solid, rides smooth and maneuvers well. The flat bars are not such a wide spread so the arms are at a relaxed position and the grips are slightly flat and very comfortable. The components are shimano and weimain, both good quality. Tires are low profile. My first ride was like I had ridden it for years. Absolutely love this bike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am not sure if I love it yet *(This riding review is based off of my primary short term riding experience on the Manitoba. I have little knowledge/experience with bikes)*. POSITIVES:It is a very nice looking bike. Its lightweight enough to pick up with one hand and is super easy to put on and off my bike rack. The breaks are nice and strong. The gears switch nicely. If you want to sweat you will. Its fast with little effort and rides decently on gravel terrain. I got this bike because I wanted to ride on nature trails that have some gravel. I was a little nervous about the rocks on my tires, but this bike is supposedly made for various terrains. Time will tell on how well the bike does on gravel. However, I was told by the Dick's sales associate to ride minor gravel trails and the trail I ride on he said the bike is suited for. Sean was great and answered all of my questions while purchasing this bike. NEGATIVES:The seat SUCKS! It is extremely uncomfortable to ride even for a few minutes. I will be looking for a new seat or gel seat cushion. The seat affects the enjoyment of the ride and makes me not want to ride it. I hope and believe when i get a new seat I will like my bike more. Secondly, the position of the handle bars cause my arms and body to feel a bit uncomfortable. (I'm 5'4 and maybe should have gotten a 15in frame instead of 17in). Thirdly, I did hear some clinking after riding for the first time (Not sure what that was all about). Lastly, once you purchase this bike from Dick's YOU CANNOT RETURN IT!!! Just a heads up.Overall, I do like my bike and cant stop going in the garage to look at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality bike for the price Let me start by saying you can't compare Nishiki to Trek or any other high brand bike. I have owned this bike for over 2 years and I rank it up there with my Liv, Diamondback, Trek, and Specialize that I own. The bike serves the job it is intended to do. Bike fits are essential for good rides. This bike has the most comfortable saddle out of all of my higher end road bikes. I have ridden this bike over 30 miles at a time and it has performed perfectly. I have absolutely no complaints with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nishiki Womens Manitoba- worth the money! I struggled on and off with cheap Wal-mart bikes and was constantly frustrated and the quality. Our family wanted to go on fairly easy rides (paved trail, light variations in incline/decline, etc). We went into dicks to talk to a bike specialist and that's what we got! The salesperson took us to this bike after explaining our needs to him. He suggested a hybrid bike with a really light frame. Although I didn't want to spend the money, I'm glad I did. It shifts gears wonderfully with the quick gear switch bars and made the different terrain much more tolerable. It is very lightweight- so much so, that I can lift it up and load it onto our truck rack with no problem. I will say, it does NOT come with a kick stand. This must be purchased separate so that was a little odd but that certainly is not a deterrent. The handle bars also adjust for a more comfortable trip depending on how you ride. All the specialists at dicks will walk through these options with you :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Price point women's Manitoba Since they have to meet a certain cost per bike (price point) I suggest you get a better seat, you buy one onlinelike a women's Terry or Women's Selle SMP trk gel. Also watch some videos on how to set up a road bike, if you're not positioned correctly you will have discomfort and not ride more. WATCH YouTube Road Bike seat adjustment

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and fun to ride, careful with bumps I’ve had this bike for a few weeks and already put 150 miles on it. For the price it’s exactly what I needed: fast, lightweight, and good for a beginner. As a novice cyclist, I cannot believe that my first time taking it on a long ride I made it to 95mi at about 14mph. That said, either bike shorts or a better seat are recquired, again for the price this was expected. My only recommendation to other buyers is that this is a hybrid bike so there is not much suspension...not good for bumps or broken sidewalk. Overall it’s a great bike and you get everything you need to have a great ride!
