Bicycle
This bike has been an amazing first bike for my toddler. It’s sturdy, well-built, and clearly designed with beginner riders in mind. The training wheels provide great stability and confidence, making it easy for little ones to learn without feeling wobbly or unsafe.

Quick & Easy Assembly, Solid Quality.
We were in the market for a new bike for our 4 year old, as they had expressed interest in moving up from a tricycle to a "big kid" bike and were pleasantly surprised (and thankful) to have a chance to review a bicycle with training wheels in their size. We received the Nishiki Youth 12" Durango in black/blue. The bicycle is exactly as what is shown on the box and I'll get this out of the way first, since people often look for this answer: it literally took 10 minutes to set up total. 5 minutes to put together and make sure it was right, then 5 minutes to make adjustments based on your child's sizing needs. That's it. It was that easy. The entire build quality of the bicycle is excellent. It feels very sturdy and made with durable materials, which is great since kids that age tend to be rough with everything. The main body of the bicycle comes pre-assembled with the chain and chain cover already installed, which means there is zero fuss or hassle in trying to get the chain on and secured properly. The handlebar is secured down with an included allen wrech (those L-shaped hand tools) and it is extremely easy to loosen and tighten the bolt to raise or lower the handlebar. From here, there were 2 standout features that really impressed me. First, to adjust the height of the seat, there is a lever connected to a screw that makes it easy to loosen, raise or lower the seat, and then tighten back securely in place. It made the process of making adjustments extremely seamless. The next standout feature were the training wheels. You simply push the training wheel arm into a bracket on the bicycle and it locks into place. To release it, there is a pressure switch on each side of the bracket that you press down on together to release the training wheel arm. When I compare this to the training wheels I had back in the day where you needed a screwdriver set to attach and detach them, this actually impressed me a lot. This means when my child is ready to try riding without the training wheels, I can remove them on the spot. The training wheels are slightly bowed to make sure both training wheels are not completely on the ground at the same time (less than a quarter inch off the ground on either side), which is great, since it encourages kids to find and maintain their balance to eventually move away from needing training wheels. It is so well made, that there was absolutely zero adjustment time needed and it was extremely instinctive for my child to get on the bicycle and go. Unfortunately, it has been extremely cold where we are and we have experienced torrential downpours or heavy snow (sometimes both at the same time), so our child has not been able to try the bicycle out to its full extent, but from the times they were able to get out there, they absolutely loved it. In their words, "the bike is perfect!". They really like how smooth the bicycle rides, even with the training wheels. They did note that it takes a bit of strength to move the pedals when you first try to start pedaling, but they liked that, as it would prevent them from moving too fast when first starting. Our child is also large and extremely tall for their age, so they really appreciated the capability to adjust the height of both the handlebars and the seat to accommodate their size. Bottom line? I would highly recommend this bicycle. If you're in the market for a bicycle with training wheels that's durable and quick/easy to assemble/adjust, then this is it.

Perfect Size, Easy To Put Together And From Durable Mateials
This bike is the perfect size for a 4-6 year old child. I am not really good on putting things together and I got a bit frustrated at first because it doesnt come with step by step instruction but I was able to figure out how to put it together with no hlep. This bike is not heavy and with the trainig wheels, hight adjustments and durability it will be enjoyed for a long time. Highly recomended
