I ordered this ball several weeks based on some AI research that I did aimed at finding a very tuff and durable good quality glowing ball. So far, it's meeting my expectations and my dog loves it. No more lost-in-the-dark balls.
Not a Keeper
Our 75lb Golden puppy loves this ball. Lights are great at night when we're trying to wear her out. Waterproof, and chew proof! Will probably buy another just incase we lose the first one.

I bought one of these Nite Ize LED balls a long, long time ago. Like, when they first made their debut on display at the store I had to have one. I could tell right away that these balls were in a category unto themselves. I was right too. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me that my Nite Ize LED glow ball has been with me for twenty years. I honestly do not remember when I got it, but it has been in my life a very long time. It has survived five dogs over the years. Sadly, earlier this month it died beyond my ability to resuscitate it anymore. Initially, I couldn't find the Nite Ize GlowStreak at any of my local stores, nor find it on Amazon. I thought they had been discontinued and I was very sad about it. Reluctantly I tried the Nerf LED balls. I went through three in less than three weeks. They are disgraceful and do not even begin to match the quality of the Nite Ize GlowStreak. It never crossed my mind to come directly to the Nite Ize website until a friend suggested it. I am so very happy to find that Nite Ize is still making and selling the GlowStreak LED balls, as well as discovering there is a new model to try as well. (Please never end these product lines!) Thank you Team Nite Ize! You have done a most excellent job. The quality, value, and durability of the GlowStreak LED balls, and all your other products I have bought, is truly appreciated. You have made me a very satisfied customer who will be with you for life. I have A LOT of your products and they all are appreciated just as much.

I have tried every light-up ball. Seriously. Most only stay lit for about 30 seconds after the ball is still. This doesn't help me find my forgetful dog's ball in the tall grass at the dog park in the dark. This stays lit. For a long time. Long enough to ask your dog 10 times where the ball is, then tromp through the grass to find it. And you will find it, because it is bright. Not blinding, but really lit up. The battery inside is secure. Really secure. And you can replace the battery. Most light up balls are "once the battery goes out you throw the ball away". And this ball bounces. There are some rechargeable balls out there. But it's like throwing a rock because those rechargeable balls are so heavy they don't bounce. My dog wants the ball to bounce. And they float. And it's a good size, my small dog likes it and so do bigger dogs, it's "medium" sized. So 1) It stays lit and the light is bright 2) It actually bounces 3) It floats 4) You can replace the battery 4) The battery inside is secure. 5) It's small enough for small dogs and big enough for big dogs. This is the ONLY light up ball that does those 5 things. And it comes in "disco" - it cycles through all the colors which is awesome. Literally every dog in the park wants this ball. My dog carries it around so proudly it is hilarious. This ball is the best out there.

I raise shibas and all of my boys have broken the mold and LOVED to fetch...but we have grueling summers here. The Glow Streak seemed like the perfect solution! My dogs absolutely loved it and we all loved being able to play and find the ball without suffering in the heat and humidity. However, I noticed that the ball didn't "turn off" as it should...still blinking on the kitchen counter a good half hour after I'd pried it away from the pups. In all their play i can understand wear and tear, but I don't think they should have been able to make this fatal bite. (Shibas are medium bite dogs). Either way...one weekend outside in a rainstorm and it no longer worked, and was completely rusted inside.

The best dog ball for night time fetch. They're bright and the perfect size for the chuck it. Unfortunately, they do go out within 2-4 weeks. I haven't had great luck with replacing the batteries. I think the wiring gets pulled apart after so many throws. We have 2 high energy dogs that require a night walk every night. These are the best night ball on the market. We've tried them all.

Our Malanois loves this ball. However, it does not stay lit even after multiple changes of batteries. I believe the electronics inside are faulty. The ball itself is excellent, and very durable. Would be great if the light up feature worked longer than a few evenings of throws.

The idea of this ball is awesome! It lights up, it stays lit… exactly what I wanted… however my girls want a softer ball, a ball that squishes … so because this one isn’t squishy, I have a hard time getting them to play with it … but it does exactly what it says it does

I have bought four from Home depot and all four have failed. They are thrown on a turf football field. They do not work well in rain or the dog slobber is killing them. they are not water poof as advertised and when I go to replace the batteries there id rust in the components. the first two I had I thought I didn't have the cap on tight enough. I dont know how to tighten the cap better to prevent dog slobber or wet field to keep them from leaking. I like them if they would work . $18.00 is a lot. Not sure I would recommend.

Box says battery included: however, not only did it not come with batteries it didn't even come with the part that holds the battery

My FAVOURITE BALL (actually I mean “our” favourite) to use at the dog park or at night in the yard. The ball glows beautifully! Not to bright and not to dull. I find this draws & keeps my dogs attention even more so then a standard bounce ball. She is literally a nutcase when she realizes I have it on hand. The batteries are easy to replace, and last a really long time. Most Importantly, this ball is suitable for a dog that suffers with seizure activity, the colour changing features is a “Fade” between colours not rapid blinking sequences. The only time the ball gives off the “blinking” frequency is to let you know it’s going to shut off if it senses no activity

That's right, winter is here so dark nights start early. This is the dog's favorite ball and it extends our ability to play and get exercise this time of year. We got this from our local farm supply store last year. It has worked flawlessly and the batteries finally ran down this evening. Like other Nite Ize products we either own or are familiar with, this is innovative and very durable. Highly recommend this product!

After 2 uses, the batteries wore out. After replacing them, the light didn’t work anymore. Was an expensive toy that I’ll have to keep buying batteries for if I buy another one. Why can’t the company make one that’s rechargeable?

In early 2020, I bought one of the GlowStreak LED Balls. My CBR loved the ball. We played with it often in the snow. After a few weeks, the ball failed to light. Consequently, I purchased another. Following that ball's failure, I bought yet another. I am most likely to use these at night during the winter months. When I replaced the batteries in any of the balls this year, I had no joy. None of these GlowStreak LED Balls will light with fresh batteries. This winter, when I went online, I discovered the availability of the GlowStreak® Wild™ LED Ball - Disc-O. I have just purchased one of these and look forward to enjoying it with Callie. While making my order online, I read reviews about the GlowStreak LED Balls and learned that this product failed due to moisture issues. I also learned that your 'Worry Free Guarantee" is applicable and that you can provide some advice regarding preventing moisture problems. Callie would greatly appreciate having replacements for her GlowStreak LED Balls in the event of a battery dying or moisture failing. I will follow your advice to "contact customer service at info@niteize.com or at 800.678.6483 8-5 M-F MST so we can discuss and resolve this matter."
