Sturdy Edc Bottle Opener And Carabiner

I use this to keep my key lanyard attached to my belt loops. After many years of daily use, one of the wire gates has weakened and stays open. As others have mentioned, a locking version would be great and might help alleviate this issue. I still recommend this product as it’s well built and affordably priced.

Simple But Versatile

The multiple clip points are a nice touch and the fact that it’s a bottle opener means I can hang it on a go bag and have it always at the ready when I’m not near a kitchen. Feels a little less sturdy than some caribiners I’ve used, so I’m giving it 4 stars.

Does What It Should; A Bit On The Heavy Side For Backpacking

Am pleased with this. Opens beer bottles well. Wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy (relative to other S Biners).

Great Item With Slight Flaws

This has been on my for 99.99% of the time that I have worn pants for the last 11.5 years, which is most days. It works great but it is hard to trust 100%. For some reason if you "lift" your keys or the s-biner up, sometimes the keyring or ring it's connect to slips out and my keys just drop. Like if you're running and the keys jump up and down it's possible it might jump off the s-biner. Today I thought it was the same thing that happened but upon closer inspection I found that the spring wire is retained by "mushrooming" the tip so it cannot pass back through the main body of the s-biner. It seems like over time my mushroom tip has deformed enough for it to pass back through. I just tried pinching it with a pair of pliers to get a little more life out of it.
