Changed My Running Experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this treadmill. I’m someone who was struggling to run 1 mile on an older treadmill I had. Now I run 5+ miles every session on this. The training experience on the software is also amazing. I love running trails with my favorite coaches and feeling like I’m on similar terrain through incline/decline. I’m so happy I invested in this treadmill because it’s given me a true love of running!

Best Yet

This is our 4th NordicTrack treadmill over a 20+ year span. This is the best yet. Great design, the screen is optimum, the construction solid. I put it together myself very easy instructions. My wife and I love it and recommend the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 treadmill!

Excellent Treadmill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NordicTrack Commercial 1750 exceeds my expectations for a home treadmill. This treadmill is quite, very sturdy, and feature rich. The content from IFIT is very well done, and motivates me to keep working out. From the beaches of Australia to hiking the Grand Canyon, the scenery and coaching is top tier. The ease of use is my favorite thing about this treadmill, you can hop on and just get right to it with the quick start mode, and through on some video streaming apps with ease. My only negative about the treadmill, is the screen, while it’s large and great quality, it does not tilt up or down. I am 5’ 11’’ and the screen is just a little too low and awkward to consistently look at due to the angle.

Terrible Treadmill And Terrible Customer Service. Do Not Buy! Read Reviews On Reddit For More Honest Reviews Of How This Treadmill Is Defective And How Terrible Their Customer Service Is. Do Not Buy!!

Hi there. This treadmill is terrible and so is their customer service. I wouldn't buy it or any nordictrack product for that matter. I purchased this treadmill (commerical edition) for at home use so it should last for years and years and years. With less than 1000 miles on it the entire display went dead and the tech (their sub contractor) came and said the computer panel inside the monitor was dead. I called Nordictrack CS and was told it was past the warranty and I would need to pay $900 for a new monitor, shipping costs as well as the fee for the tech and travel time for the tech. Once it arrived and was installed it became clear that the belt motor had also gone bad. I spent over an hour on with CS again only to be told that I would have to pay for the new belt motor as well as the shipping etc. They eventually waved the shipping cost but I had to pay more than $600 for the new motor. Again, the tech came and went to install it and it turned out they had sent me a bad belt motor and also several other parts needed to be replaced. The cost of the new parts and associated shipping was going to be several hundred additional dollars. This would have put me at nearly the cost that I paid for the machine to begin with. Nordictrack refused to acknowledge that it was obviously a defective machine and said I wouldn't qualify for the "fraud replacement" program. I had to junk the whole machine. It was totally useless to me. It was just a terrible overall experience. I would do yourself a favor and go with a LifeFitness model instead. I had one for more than 10 years with no trouble at all and it had more than 12,000 miles on it! I wish I had just gone with another LifeFitness product. As of now I'm out the cost of the original Nordictrack treadmill as well as the cost of a new LifeFitness model. Total nightmare.

Some Parts Do Not Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some parts do not fit correctly on the treadmill. For example, right arm cover will not snap into place. Plastic cover under the monitor could not be installed due to manufacturing error.

Loving It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything working perfect, Love the iFit workouts, I was hesitant to buy after reviews about slugish pannel but I have not had any issues, The only issues I have is it decelerates too fast and may trip some if not paying attention, also have to be mindful of hitting the front cover with feet while walking, but once you get use to it, it's ok.

Treadmill Fine - Support Lacking

I’ve had the treadmill less than two months and my safety key does not work properly. I have tried to contact “online” support with zero luck do to what I would say are technical/navigation issues with trying to submit a support request. My working hours prevent me from calling phone support so I need an online option.

Paywalls For Everything

Ifit Makes It Worth It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love this treadmill - but improvements could be made. I purchased this because I have a slight tear in my ACL and walking/running is a big part of my recovery. I live on country roads and I get real tired of the scenery near home since my driveway is about 1/2 mile of the trip. iFIT was the solution I've been looking for. Pros: 1. Pretty quick delivery, and I live nowhere near a city. 2. The packaging is VERY good. They probably didn't even need to stop the truck to drop this off. 3. I put this together by myself in about an hour. The instructions are super easy to understand and there's a video if you need it. I did not watch the video. 4. The build quality is at least as good as what you would find at a premium gym. 5. I love the big screen and the interface overall. I have an iFIT subscription, so that is how I've used the machine so far. 6. It's very difficult to write a review and not talk about iFIT. I love the trainers, I love the city tours, I love it all. I enjoy the statistics, the calendar, and everything about the service. This service was the piece that put me over the edge on buying this treadmill - and I'm VERY HAPPY with it. 7. Adjusting the belt, calibrating the incline and pairing up the heart monitor was super easy. 8. The fan really works great! I love the auto setting. Cons: 1. Video quality is really bad. Like 2004 internet video quality. I have no idea why. Same issue on workouts and Streaming. 2. The screen buttons for increasing/decreasing speed and incline almost always take several tries to register - which really isn't great when you're running too fast and want to slow down a little. 3. I wish you could set standard settings for workouts with the fan speed. Every workout you have to turn it on DURING the workout through the menu if you want to use "auto". 4. Many of the running classes seem to be a little on the shorter side, and more are slower than faster. But this isn't an issue for beginners like me. However, I have done 2 workouts back to back when I've had time. Some of these gripes seem like they could be fixed with software, so it's frustrating that they exist at all. All that said, I love having a treadmill that also motivates me to workout. I can tell you that looking forward to the next workout in a series has motivated me to get on the treadmill several times already. If you do NOT plan to get or use iFIT, I can't see a reason to buy this treadmill. There are lots of options that are less money and just as well made. The upside is that this one is super high quality AND fun to use. Speakimg of iFIT, there are two subscription levels and the default one allows you 5 accounts. Those can be people in your household or friends across the country - which is pretty cool since there are a ton of workout options that are not just treadmill related. I recommend this treadmill highly if you've been making excuses for years about why you're not working out. This makes all those excuses very tough to justify.

Don't Waste Your Money

The machine doesn't work, they send out a tech who then fails to contact me with an update for a month. When I contact him he says he can't do anything until you rewire your house electric to correct specifications. An electrician come out to confirm the house was always wired to correct specifications. I ask for a new tech but there is only one that covers over a hundred miles. . . At this point I would have paid someone 2k to talk me out of ever dealing with this company, so it isn't a total loss. Plus it is an ok drying rack.
